I love my 2019 RX350 especially the lines and the beautiful grill, that look alone made me to decide on buying a Lexus.
Of course it is a luxurious car all around.
these are so beautiful in real life and luxurious , with that being said , ive ridin in one and an older ls460 , the ride compared to the ls is no way compared, you can hear the road and feel many bumps , but the inside is definitely luxurious and one of the best ever made
@@rhlastnae5236 Completely agreed. I was recently in a 2021 RX350 and they finally added Apple Carplay and the panoramic roof. So that’s something. Still road noise and bumpy ride though.
These cars are absolutely stunning in person. I reckon the Titanium silver is the best color on this one, just my opinion but Lexus vehicles really go well in the silver tones. Interior wise, second to none here, just look at those interesting colorways inspired by their Japanese routes.
John Smith even Hondas have led turn signals. Lexus charges and arm and a leg for these and can't put led turn signals (even with that strip hardware in the back) unless you pay $$ for the triple beam. Shame on them! Other than these are decent vehicles. Also that gaping mouth grill gotta go!

There’s no argument against the quality and goodness of Lexus probably the best luxury brand in the world but for me, I just can’t past the big heavy looking front overhang.

I think the instrument cluster is very important in any SUV/car. This is probably the most viewed area on the dashboard. I love the simple, premium, traditional look of the instrument cluster on this Lexus (at 7:10). It looks nice, is easy to read, and gives you important info at a glance. So many auto companies are trying to reinvent the traditional instrument cluster with odd ball graphic/LCD designs, that just about always are harder to read, and hard to understand and don't look very nice. The presenter mentioned that you can get the "cooler" LCD instrument cluster display with the F sport. Personally, I think the traditional instrument cluster in this Lexus is "cooler" that the one in the F sport.
howlingwolf125y i cannot agree with you more than i do. lexus and toyota are all about simplicity and reliability so those gauge clusters look very nice and also the finish looks timeless

I was so close to getting this but I went with the Range Rover Velar. I really do not care for they body style, I know it sounds superficial but the front end looks ridiculous and it is not as smooth a ride. We will see. but I LOVE my RRV

Agree with you about the look of the RX 350 not looking so great, but it is definitely a reliable vehicle. I hate the grill.
I've had my special-order 2019 RX 350 for 5 weeks now, and I"m loving it. Looks just like this one, only I have the luxury package. Got a good price thru the Costco Auto Buying Program. I recommend them (the RX and the Costco program) to anyone.

I have been leasing a 2016 RX which was the first model year of this latest version. The sticker price for the car was almost reaching $60K when I took delivery of it. First, I must say Lexuses are very reliable cars. I have had few of them. Unfortunately my next vehicle will not be a Lexus since I have gotten sick of looking at the I pad looking stuck on top of the dash. If I were going to take a guess, I must say this has been done in order to keep the design cost minimal. After all, it takes a lot more effort to design the screen which is fully incorporated into the dash. Take a look at the Porsche SUV’s. They all have done such a great job achieving this. Additionally, the SUV definitely feels underpowered. So, it is a completely misguided selling point to tell the consumer that you can put regular gas in it since it pales compare to the cost of this Luxury SUV.
So, your problem with the RX is the screen design, which numerous brands utilize?
Joshua R , that is one of the reasons and being under powered. Try NX, the turbo boost at low RPM is great. Much better than RX350. Plus, the price on this vehicle adds up very quickly.
+RON GHAFARY I agree with the price. In terms of power, the RX is on par with the Acura MDX and Volvo XC90 T6. It is actually quicker than the NX by half a second.
@@ronghafary2453 the standalone screen doesn't bother me as much.. but I agree, it is underpowered especially considering they have a F Sport version, which is only a aesthetic package...

Amazing review but I do have a small request: It would be great if you could tell us how tall you are when checking the legroom in the back seats. I have a friend who is 5’2” so she is fine wherever but I have another friend who is 6’5” and he struggles in even the larger cars. An approximation would be great so we have an idea of how we would fit in there. Also the head room (from your head to the ceiling) would be nice to see whether people would hit their head against the ceiling of not. Thank you so very much and this video was great :)
Hello! Some of our more recent videos include this info. The driver seat is adjusted to 5'8" and the person sitting in the back is 5'7". Hope this helps!

That is a trick of the camera. It has to do with the camera's frame rate matching with the LED lighting, so it doesn't actually do that in real life I assure you!

Johns Corey on the contrary, the outside is ok. The interior is fabulous. Seriously speaking, Lexus interior quality may be better than Mercedes, definitely better than bmw & Audi.
I seen the 16 when it first came out but skipped it because of the interior looks. Been waiting for a better looking RX since 2006.

Zhiguo Wang that's true. I sat in a beemer and lexus... lexus steering wheel, window up down noise and interiors are far better. BMW vibrates during idle and is not as smooth as lexus.

They build cars not technology. Besides tech today is not going to be appealing in 5 years. It might be 'myplay' or 'microsuckmusic'
I'm a technology guy, a software developer, an apple product fan boy, I never used apple carplay or android auto and I don think they are necessary. Leaving my phone plug into the car for long period of them may actually reduce the phone battery life expectancy. I even have Qi-wireless charge in my Rx 350, I never even used it.
All this technology stuff is over rated. I don't even use the doors, I just hop out an open window reach back and use the auto window up. Figure that will save tons on the hinges, doors seals, and latches. I'll never ding another drivers door. I never use wipers either, I just increase my speed so the water blows off quicker. My car does not have Apple or Android capability either but if I think I need it I just ask someone else for a ride and use theirs, sometimes UBER is accommodating that way. I kind of find the apple / android thing similar to arriving at an upscale Western Restaurant for a nice steak meal only to discover they do not have utensils, only those over sized thin plastic film gloves to use. You inquire with the Wait Staff about no knives and forks and they reply "Ah ha, and next thing you will expect will be chopsticks and plastic straws! We are not that kind of environmental Armageddon meal provider here, we do not believe in these Carbon based needless technologies you call utensils."

lexus is a great brand but they should really overhaul their infotainment system and use a rotary dial to control or remote toggles that move to another icon once each toggle
I believe the rotary interface is patent protected. Plus Lexus is the best selling luxury brand with largest baby boomer market share. I go to Vero Beach Florida and see Lexus after Lexus in every grocery parking lot. Old people hate change. Heck, I'm young and I hate change.

Before they made that change the RX was really an old person car lol you usually see very old ladies driving it. They change it to appeal to younger people because those old people never put hella mileage on it and probably won't buy another RX cause they last forever!
That grille design is futuristic and ahead of its time. I really like it.

Lexus' design language looks better on sedans imo. Their SUVs and Crossovers just don't look good to me.
NX200t has 17.7 (seats up) and 54.6 (seats down) of cargo space. I wouldn't call that a "significant" difference.

@@plogger34 there are lower options without panoramic sunroof. F sport series 2 or luxury package. But you wont have 360 view camera and many things more.

That's correct. With this engine, you are not required to use premium fuel

Remote start is included in the Enform Remote app for your phone. The Enform app also includes door lock/unlock, vehicle finder, vehicle status, and guest driver/valet settings for speed & boundary alert notifications. That said... I agree that Lexus should add a dedicated RS button on the key fob as well.

Ok you know what I just noticed, the long wheel base version of the RX looks a lot like the Honda Odyssey from the side because of the floating roof and the kink in the lower window line. Seriously look at pictures of their profiles side by side and you’ll understand... maybe
I have this car
I own a 2016 RX350, this body design. It's ok. I wouldn't rave about it. The best I can say about it is that it's 'nice'. The engine is a tad under powered. The media/radio is clunky and complicated to program. The indicator stork (turn signal) is light when engaging it; it feels cheap. The steering is very light, Audi does a better job there. Their steering is a bit heavier and you feel more in control. Would I buy another RX350? Probably not.
Sorry but if you are reviewing cars please update your gear with a wide lens and a better microphone, maybe start doing voice overs instead

UndeniableChynah it holds 19.2 gallons. So, 19.2 x (whatever gas costs at the time where you are) = amount it costs to fill up ⛽️
In saudi arabia these things are as common as camrys
Not a fan of the interior instrumentation that need a better tech for the price tag.
