a little correction: Clash At The Castle 2022 didn't happen in Scotland. It happened in Cardiff, Wales. WWE still treated it almost like Drew's hometown since it's in UK.

Most likely cuz people wanted drew to win in his home town but cm punk will get involved and people will turn on cm punk for having drew lose to Damien priest in his home town

How does a fatal 4-way with priest, Gunter, punk, and drew at summerslam sound?
Imo that takes away the possibility of a marquee singles match in Drew vs Punk. If Drew and Punk face off in any capacity it HAS to be 1v1. Additionally I think it should be without the title on the line so again you can have two marquee matches on the card :)

I think you are missing one key piece in AJ vs Cody, Cody’s mom will be in the crowd, I could see AJ to go full heel and making Cody say ”I quit” because he is about to smash Mama Rhodes’ head with a sledgehammer or something. AJ would get one last run with the belt that he kinda deserves.

I think card placement will be key. If Drew & Priest go on last then Drew shouldn't get screwed again, especially by Punk. Punk will get heat from crowd and Drew cant afford it. You have some options.
1. Let Punk interfere but still have Drew beat the odds and go over at home. (idk why you would get heat on punk like this)
2. Drew goes over and Punk interferes later at SS costing him title to Gunther.
3. Ref bump causes JD interference that costs Priest title leading to face turn.
4. Priest wins from Punk/JD interference.

I didnt really follow the Gunther king of the ring storyline, but does Gunther have to face the raw champion at summerslam? Or can he choses Cody? It could be surprising to have Gunther face cody so we finally have a sequel to their royal rumble 2023 final 2, and then we can have McIntyre vs Punk for the world title

My prediction is that Drew McIntyre will win at CATC due to a botched CM Punk interference, then whoever wins MITB will cash in on Drew to become champion and then lose to Gunther.
Drew wins a world title in Scotland, he wins only because of CM Punk and a THIRD world title reign of Drew is ended by a cash in, fueling his bitterness even more. We then avoid Gunther McIntyre for the belt and get Gunther beating a transitional champion which protects Drew as he doesn't have to focus on the world title anymore and can target CM Punk.
It's a win win for all.

I don’t think Gunther vs Priest will happen at SummerSlam, I think that the guy who wins MITB (I think it will be Sami) will cash in soon after on Priest or Drew and it will be the MITB winner vs Gunther
It should happen because Priest isn’t doing well as champion, and CM Punk V Drew McIntyre will be the first match of this title that feels like an important world championship match and not a midcard less than Cody title.
Even if it makes more sense that Punk would cost Drew the Title again, that fucking sucks. They make a PLE on Drew's home country with a character that is hot and delivers in every way possible, after putting over so many other champions(Seth, Gunther, Roman, Priest), you gonna make him loose AGAIN? The same way he lost a CATC 1? The same way he lost the title at Mania? Drew has a rough time no matter what right. Be in your best form, do everything they tell you and still you not gonna have the title, this fucking sucks.

Drew Mcintyre vs CM Punk at Summerslam should be without the title, sure Drew winning the title in Scotland is nice but the story/ feud doesn't need the title.
Yes it doesn’t need the title. And I don't think Punk would be cleared by SummerSlam for a match. If that's the case, Drew should win and keep the title until Survivor Series atleast (losing to Gunther in a rematch due to Punk interference).

Here’s what I think will happen, judgement day will be at the show, try to help Damien, but then liv comes around, distracts them, Damien gets distracted, Drew hits a future shock and claymore, and either win the title or punk comes around, then Drew gets advantage of punk and beats him down, but then Damien hits a south of heaven immediately after Drew is finished up with punk and gets the pin. However this match has the highest potential to have a Scottish wrestler win a title, so for me, are any Scottish superstars likely going to win a championship? No.
I think Punk is gonna try to cost Drew the win, but Drew gets away and blows a kiss to CM Punk. He’ll lose it from a cash in from Possibly Finn Balor. Finn vs. Gunther at Summerslam.

would i love to see drew finally get to the title in front of the hometown fans in glasgow yeah but there's two problems. 1. if drew wins the title he's not going to be holding it for long because gunther has to win it at summerslam which is pretty much why cm punk will cost him the title at catc because priest was always going to be a placeholder to get the title on gunther anyway. 2. speaking of placeholders this has been drew's main role for the past couple of months because when cm punk went down with injury he was put in his spot to face seth at mania 40 for the title which drew won & finally got his moment in front of fans at a mania but they didn't have a plan for him which lead to priest cashing in his mitb & winning the title from drew. which lead to where we're at now with drew vs punk which is drew now being a placeholder for seth due to seth having to be out injured. and obviously wwe wanting to have cm punk in a big money match for summerslam since they couldn't do it at wm 40
Tbh I don't think that CM Punk is going to cost Drew's match. Because Cm Punk is the face of this Feud. Drew will only be the champion for this match. And I don't think that a face should be the bad guy of this feud. Drew has plenty of time to drop the titles again. Like loosing it to money in the bank against maybe Jey uso. Since Drew and Jey already have a small feud going. So yeah I think we will get CM Punk vs Drew at Sumerslam. But I think that Gunther will face the money of the bank winner (My guess Jey) :D
I think punk’s going to try and interfere, but I think drew has to have some sort of idea that punks going to do it. He’ll have some plan today to stop it, and when he wins he’ll blow a kiss to punk and run out of the stadium as world heavyweight champion.
I'm honestly impressed at how WWE has been booking Nia Jax. I did not like her at all in her first run but there's something different this time. Her booking and presentation is so much better under Triple H.

Story wise doesn´t make sense for Drew to win the title. It would be a killer for his feud with Punk, we need the hate meter to go up, not down and if Punk screws Drew that feud goes to God mode.
I would honestly say the World Title picture is much more interesting than the WWE title, every match is at least somewhat unpredictable, whereas the WWE title matches are all gonna end with Cody winning at least up until the next Wrestlemania
How about this: A Scottish icon helps thwart CM Punk's plan to cost Drew the title at CatC, then at MITB, Drew retains against Damian but gets cashed in on after Punk lays him out.

Even though that McIntyre vs Punk rivalry is so engaging, I don’t think he should cost Drew ANOTHER title shot, it would become very repetitive and make Punk’s hype die down and turn into anger, on top of ruining Punk’s character by making him just the guy that messes up with Drew sporadically.
This all problem wouldn't have even been a case if that bald HHH could use his wits. Randy should've won the king of the ring to eventually turn heel to face Cody and in this way the world heavyweight title picture would've been wayyy better with Drew winning at clash at the castle and defending against punk at Summer slam

The problem I have with Bianca and Jade is that I don't buy them as babyfaces, their way to talk, their mannerisms, the fact that they keep boosting themselves as unbeatable powerhouses, the fact that Jade seems to force anyone that crosses her or insults her into a match, hell, Bianca's theme song is all about she being the best and don't needing anyone, that's arrogant as hell, they are not believable faces at all, yet WWE are still pushing them as faces
I hope Shayna and Zoey win the match, and maybe finally turning either Bianca or Jade (or both) heel

Having every Scottish wrestler lose in Scotland just feels terrible. I hope they have Drew win. Even if he only holds the title for one month, I’d rather him lose the title on a short reign then lose in his hometown again. If I was HHH I’d have AJ go over and win the belt in some screwy fashion a-la Rock/Mankind . Have the OC out there, create some kind of a ref bump to where one OC goon can beat the piss outta Cody and AJ signals for the other to go to the back. A camera cuts to to him in the production truck and he’s bullying the people in there to cue the audio of Cody on Smackdown 2 weeks ago screaming “ I quit” at the end of his promoting the match. Then cut back to the ring, Cody makes a comeback, hits the crossroads on AJ and then puts the figure 4 on him. Ref starts to stir a bit but b4 he fully gets to his senses, BAM the other OC goon blasts Cody with a chair or some blunt object and knocks him the fuck out. AJ grabs a mic, hovers over Cody in a headlock position to where ref can’t see Cody’s head/mouth, AJ puts the mic to Cody’s mouth then you hear the audio of Cody sayin I quit. Ref signals for the bell. Boom. They’ve fucked Cody, AJ gets 1 more title win under his belt and so begins Cody’s chase again to get it back. 🤷🏾 It makes the match non predictable and the money is in the babyface chasing the title again.
