    Nice addition to the tractor. Mowing and rocking at the same time.

    My son-in-law, his dad, and myself just bought the same tractor together. We were looking for a radio and this fits the ticket just fine. Thanks for the help!

      Glad I could help! The radio works great. The speakers could use an upgrade, but it does what I need.

      @@SeidelRanch Got one on order. Already have the required connectors/splicer and tool. I told my SIL I would install it when the weather gets better....forgot....no need to wait with a nice warm cab!!!!!
      Funny, I insisted on a cab and the hydrostatic drive. He balked, but after clearing snow for 3 hrs he was elated to have a nice warm environment and after an adjustment period, the hydrostatic tranny.

      @@Leonardokite Oh yeah, cab is now a must for me. Totally worth it price wise. Here in Texas it's the 120 degree days that will kill you. Add in the bee swarms and allergies and there is no question, it's a cab all the way. Stay safe and enjoy!

    Helpful. I just purchased this exact radio from Walmart online. Slight change in graphics but identical. 1 Month ago I took delivery of the LSMT342hc. Looks like a pretty easy install. Thanks

    Great video. you just need some better speakers to go with the new radio to get the tractor rocking out. look at my video on my radio install i had put 5 1/4" speakers in but you need spacers to avoid the hvac in roof due to the depth of the speakers and you don't even have to cut bigger holes. Thank for posting

      Thanks. I did watch yours. How do you like the ones you got? Would you buy the same ones again?

    Very nice explanation! And I also agree, you will need better, bigger speakers.
    Thank you for making this!

    Good video on the install. I upgraded my speakers with some 4 inch 4 way speakers from Walmart. Not the best brand but definitely an improvement over the stock LS speakers.

      Thanks for the info. I was thinking either a good set of 4" or buy some rings and go 5.5". Still deciding so I have not done it yet. The stock speakers have to go soon though.

    Thank you so much. I could not find the wire colors anywhere. You also sold a Jenson MPR210. Just wish it had weather radio and alerts, but to get that on a radio was around $200. My ham radio has weather alerts. May use the rear outputs or RCA to add a small subwoofer behind the seat??? I am considering a set of 4" Jenson speakers as I must match brand;) to replace factory. Still using my JBL Bluetooth speaker for now from my cell phone. I most look forward to bluetooth calling.

      Glad you are getting all fixed up. Mine sounded so much better after changing the speakers.

      @@SeidelRanch What speakers did you end up going with? I just installed my BT Deck (THANKS for your video). Yes, the speakers are terrible. Did you stick with 4" or go the same route as @MiHeatingGuy?

      @SeidelRanch  Рік тому +2

      @@kwmuir I did end up getting some new ones off of Amazon. I stuck with the same size as the ones it had, but they are probably not as good as larger ones. They are way better than the stock ones though.

    Thanks for the video! I'm sitting in my New Holland Boomer 40 listening to your video on my newly installed Jensen MPR210 (thanks to your and Michigan Heating Guys videos)! Just for info....your wiring diagram colors seems to work the same on my Boomer (it's an LS tractor). I did have to turn the bass all of the way down due to the lousy factory speakers that you mentioned. Thanks again!

      Awesome to hear. Those factory speakers are very basic, but at least you have some tunes now. That speaker upgrade Michigan Heating Guy did would be nice.

    Are you able to put the gray LS faceplate that came with the tractor back on with the center punched out after you install this radio so it covers the holes up?

    • @SeidelRanch
      @SeidelRanch  3 роки тому +1

      Not on this radio, unless you want to trim it. This one had a non-removable trim already on it. With that said, it does seem a little tight even if you chose a radio that had removeable trim so you might have to trim that piece with any radio.

    So far this radio has been GREAT! It really rocks but the cab speakers can't handle it. I am currently looking for some good 4" speakers to replace the factory ones. Do you know of any good ones? I would like to stick with 4" because of the holes, but I am open to going a little larger if it really makes a big difference. Check out this radio here: amzn.to/36wlnSR 👍
