Been sawing away at that first riff for like 7 months now and I'm getting there dude. Tried to learn it by ear (which I did wrong) until I saw your tutorial here and replayed it about a 4000 times. Thanks for the guidance!
You seem to be the only one showing the riffs correctly. Most people don't do the single notes on the E string in the first riff. I kept watching Abbath play it on the infamous guitar lesson. And I noticed him do something there. But other covers seemed to not do those movements. You figured them out. Very good work.
Damn, that song is just brutal! Killer riffs to drive the blast beats. Had no idea just how much depth those riffs had. Great lesson. Thanks for sharing!

@@SeedOilFitnessOfficial It's all killer!...I loved Venom/Celtic Frost for over 30 years...I hated 2nd wave black metal in the 90's...I was the Death Metal only guy....Thankfully I got out of that mentality..Life is to short and too many styles of killer Music to pass up...Metal or not!
Could you perhaps make a video on how one can figure out how to play a black metal song? Or is it all just trial and error by ear? So many are lofi and roughly recorded that even slowing the song down doesn't always help much. Cheers from Switzerland.
Honestly it’s just been trial and error by ear and watching live videos, it’s tough to train your ears to pick out certain notes and chords, doable with practice
@@DevGohil Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I try it too but sometimes it's truly frustrating. Surely you've seen Abbath do that video guitar tutorial. He said himself he just makes his solos up and forgets.
The trick is to practice really slow. Slow down the Video by Dev and play the parts one by one slow. Spend a week or two on just one part. It won’t sound right first but after 10 days or so try to increase the speed a bit.
First off, thanks a million for this video. Been chipping away at getting up to speed (clean). Just wanted to say that it seems like your full speed is a big faster than the recording (!!! and you're so clean) so that might help people who are struggling to hit that pace feel a bit better about themselves, lol
I love this guy, it's almost impossible to decipher immortal riffs, but this man saved my life
thank you for explaining each riff one by one
Pun intended

A solid and iconic track riff for developing play tightness and speed.
Man, you are easily my favorite guitar teacher on YT... I've been watching your videos nonstop.
Awesome job brother !!! Was so hoping for the riff after !

This riff is monstruous 😂
Do some 1st wave black metal....Hellhammer,Celtic Frost,Venom,Bathory!
I plan to soon
@@DevGohil Really love to see the Venom....never seen anybody do them.
Its just basically Satanic/Pagan Thrash Metal. 90s and up is better

That tone is killer
Engl's are great
Holy crap that sounds good
at some point i need enough microphones and equipment so you guys can hear the room more effectively. the Sm57 doesn't do much justice
Definitely one of the trickier BM rhythm sections to play tightly. Not sure how he does this and sings while pissed.
Thanks bro love me some immortal
This song is really kicking my ass as a newer guitar player. But it's my favorite Immortal song so I'm gonna keep at it!
You got this
Wonderful lesson! Thanks man!
Is part 2 coming? The next riffs is where it gets really interesting!!
potentially
@@DevGohil Looking forward to it :)!
@@DevGohilplease I’m begging you 🙏

Great Lesson! Love that tone you have!! Could you let us know what your gear and settings your using for that tone? Thanks!
Dean v plugged straight into an Engl fireball
Will you show the next riff from the song? I always wondered how is it played but there is no explanation on youtube
If there is demand
At least it will be the only video on UA-cam with explanation on this riff. Hope to see it soon =)
@@DevGohil I think there seems to be demand sir! You'll have to demonstrate the little dance he does also

What pedals/effects/amp are you using for this tone?
Just plugged straight into an ENGL Fireball

Hey man, solid stuff! I was just curious if you've ever considered making a video on the band Absu or if you've tried to learn any songs from them?
