Vice City was and still is one of my favourite video games. It just had that fantastic atmosphere. Played through to completion about half a dozen times. I would say that it's a shame they haven't put the remastered def on Steam - even though the original version was available. Tried looking it up but it doesn't seem to be on there.
There is a latest update from rockstar today that they are bringing back the classic gta versions and those who own definitve edition from rockstar launcher, classic versions will be free of cost for them
They took down the definitive edition due to really bad reviews and complaints. Honestly, now that I've beaten both 3 and vice city on definitive edition. 3 is the only game I found to have serious issues. Vice city actually runs pretty solid on the definitive edition. I'm kinda now excited to play San andreas tomorrow. My buddy says San andreas runs smooth too. Just bad character designs.

Always had tons of gameplay mechanic issues and random bugs that would make missions more difficult than they were suppose to be. The only reason 3 got a pass back in the day was bc most games were like that and 3 was considered top of the tier for that time just for having open world mechanics. Tho the game definitely didn't age well at all. They should've definitively re-did the games mechanics and updated them to vice city's or San andreas mechanics. Those games have little issues here and there, tho nothing like 3 does and they still hold up to their title till this day. Vice city is definitely one of my favorites as well. I love everything about it.

I would say that this is the best ending with a reserve for the sequel. It will be a shame if we never find out what happened to Tommy in the very end and how he ended his life. In the first Mafia, the ending was much more complete than in Vice City. But in general, the ending of Vice City leaves a feeling of satisfaction from what is happening and makes you fantasize about the future of Tommy. So in any case, it copes with its role, and do it very well. :)
Beat this last night…despite a minor bugs here and there it was a great playthrough..Some missions were difficult but I still had a blast…Moving on to San Andreas now
I already started playing the original, all these new gameplay footage got me nostalgic, but I am not going to buy definitive edition until modders or Rockstar fixes character models and weird aiming animations or until it comes on Steam and on sale.

I remember the encounters with sonny and lance to be extremely difficult, tommy cannot even remain stand exposed in front of them for 2 seconds with full armor and health, in this version things seems be chilled out

Something I learned by accident: if you stand still in your office, more times than not no one will come up there to attack you. If you stand there till subtitles tell you to go after the backstabber Lance and head out of room, you can get to the Lance cutscene. I really hope that doesn't get patched out. 🤔
No Soundtrack during the action... makes this kinda of weird 3:27 The PC just needs some Mods (there is already one that gets rid of the white outlines), and then we can enjoy this remaster with better looking models

This mission sucks so hard. Sometimes there are like 100 enemies until Lance shows up and sometimes theres none. on the roof Im instant dead after 5 seconds and Sonny sometimes wont spawn after killing Lance. Great Mission indeed.

As you could see in this Introduction, Tommy abandoned Ken in a rehab center after his addiction, which means that was the end of that beautiful business relationship, that happened because Ray Liotta (Tommy's voice actor) left Rockstar and was supposed to speak in the part of the phone booth but he couldn't since what happened with him and Rockstar about the payment, but yeah, this Introduction refresh you about the characters and the future events of the game
Please make a return in GTA6 Tommy. Going back to Vice City, should be fun revisiting Vice City after all those years. I wonder how old Tommy is by then ..

I feel like Lance puts everyone down to their last little bit of hp. That's why they got that hp waiting for you there. It's a bad spot you gotta take him out in. I didn't know you automatically get armor refill when sunny comes in tho. I always just take him out right away and ignore the goons bc it completes the mission as soon as he's dead and it doesn't take long if you focus all fire on him right away.

It's a small detail, but I hate how Vice City uses the San Andreas menu sound effects
