This brings back fond memories, growin' up a kid on my grandpa's farm. He taught me how to bush hog on his 1948 Ford 8N and 6 foot brush mower. Every summer I would get to go mow our pastures and I also had some great trails cut through the woods out to our pond about 1/2 mile away and yeah....same sound of the giant whirring blades and the rumble of the deck as it shot out wads and clumps of grass and skrub brush! Thanks for sharin'.
That truck looks GREAT Chris! I just traded my 2019 in as I retired this summer and don’t need such a large truck now. Mine was red and the biggest difference I had was the rear wheel well liners. It is dumb that you have to buy them at all and they are not standard, but they black out the wheel wells and give it a more finished look. Lot less noise on Gravel as well. That truck will give you all the power and workability, you will ever need for a personal working truck. I still am not sure which is nicer overall, the Lariat or the King Ranch! Either one is pretty awesome! Thanks again for sharing the weekend play time!!
When ever you pick up or turn over something like that cardboard, you always pickup the far side away from you, tilting back to you. That way if snake or other critters, strike the material your picking up is a shield. Learned that one at age 6. Use to go hunting for snakes, not good when pick up and edge and its in your face.
I love the truck and am so glad these 37s are becoming more popular! I have the exact same version in a black 1 ton. I am 54 and have had 21 trucks since 1984. The reason I like the 37s is for the last 10 years at least the dealers have been putting huge wheels on these trucks and tires with no side walls. Then these (I call them trust fund kids) buy them and put even taller wheels and a strip of rubber around them with wheels offset so far they almost ride outside the wheel well openings. Not to mention all the under body lights and ladder bars! Being a true through and through truck guy it makes me want to pull them over and literally give them a spanking in the street! Ive always had fords and I always used the stock 16.5 size with 33s on my 3/4 tons leveled. I have sleeping in my out building a 2006 3/4 ton with a little taller springs and 35s and 17k on it that looks brand new. Last time I had it out a guy at the gas station offered me $30k when he found it had been unmolested. He thought it was restored. Keep digging and I'll keep watching.
I started a property management company last year in hopes to one day be able to run equipment and help people the way you do. You just kill it man, thank you for all the hard work and insperation.
Who watches a great non confertational channel like this and gives a thumb down, 8 times when I noticed. I've watched hundreds and never took the time to give a thumbs down... Just stupid...
HAHA I was just listening to that same Montgomery/ Gentry song this afternoon !! Hearing it in your tractor totally cracked me up !! Such a funny song !! thanks for the laughs
The sound of stones getting caught up in the blades always makes my skin crawl. You can almost hear the blades screaming as they become more dull by the second.
Chris you might be interested in changing out the front air dam. The 4x4 comes with a 6 3/4” Valance. I changed mine out with a 4x2 Valance ( HC3Z-17626-AD) . It is only a little over 3”.
I bought a John Deere 55 go tractor with a 12 ft. Batwing shredder and easily removable front end loader this last year. I have managed to clean my 18 acre place up real nice and everything is fairly easy to remove and attach with the JD technology. I feel like a three armed man in a asskickin contest.
i like the truck and tractor and i love watching all or your videos either before i go to bed or when i get a chance and watching all your videos make driving tractors look like alot of fun
Your truck looks damn good. Just wondering on the leveling kit you used. I have the same truck and I want to level it but I don’t want to ruin the factory feeling
Last I checked you can not have your main binders to attachments to hold a piece of equipment so not to the forks, loader or brush hog, but instead to the front axle and rear axle shafts also depending on how the rear of the Kubota is set up
The truck looks great. It's odd to me to see a 250 without a snow plow setup on it. But then again where you live I imagine it wouldn't see a whole lot of work. Keep the videos coming!
Using my tractor and Bush hog is therapy for me it gives me time to think and reflect keep up the great work on your videos do not forget to go to letsdig18.com and pick to up your merchandise
What I've done in the past involving rocks in the pasture, is with the bucket on the front, raise it up slightly and have someone ride in the bucket traveling in low gear, picking them up and putting them in the bucket. this only needs to happen once if your through. Eliminates the sharpening or replacing of blades. Just a thought.
Another idea to help the look of your truck is to replace the front chin spoiler with a 2WD version, I guess they are a couple inches shorter and really help balance out the front aesthetic.
An FYI. Chain the attachments separate than the tractor itself. Meaning, you need to chain the front and rear of tractor and then, one chain per attachment.
I think I would have put the bucket on instead of the forks . You can find stumps and rocks a lot cheaper with a bucket if you're on a piece of ground that you don't know.
Love your work. Easy on engaging the PTO though. Engage at idle only and engage gingerly if the control allows it. We have a lot of PTO driven attachments and it sucks to split them apart to fix clutches/splines/shafts etc you'll see the shock in the slasher when engaging PTO in the vid. Great content though. Always watch and appreciate a good operator.
Reminds me of when we moved into our first house as a kid (lived in apartments 'til then). My youngest brother was 3. The "grass" was up to his eyes! Yup, you guessed it...21" PUSH MOWER! THAT was a fun summer >:(
Nice lookin' truck. May have to think about mud flaps with those "thirty sevens" on the truck or you will have large "rooster tails" when it rains. lol
I do a lot of field mowing in my area. I change $100.00 per hour. I use a 5520 John Deere with a John Deere 609 mower Deck, it has great tip speed. Good luck to you
Chris, When you loaded the tractor, the left side of the trailers back end when down way more than the right side. It appeared the structure was weaker on the left.
I was hoping your the kind of guy that listens to classic rock music... and here ya are listening to that sister kissing music lol... I'm just yanking your chain a little.
Nice easy job to fill in a Saturday morning,...as if you needed another job to fill your day! That prop. shaft 'guard' sure makes it look bad when it's rolling over, doesn't it!
12:05 & *COUNTRY WESTERN TUNEAGE IN THE TRACTOR CAB?!?!? RIGHT ON.. NEVER HAD THAT UNLESS I BRUNG IT FROM HOME.* *NICE JOB. WHAT MAKE WAS TRACTOR??* 1.31.2021 1230
I have found it’s not a good idea to brush hog with the forks on as I can’t walk the tractor out if I get stuck with the forks ( I live in Lousiana my field is an ex rice/crawfish field )
But it’s so much fun when you hit rocks you here Them fly in but it’s better when you run over that steel property marker that was drove in the ground 100 and something years ago and you break the blade off the bush hog that makes some racket

How’s your business going? I’m thinking of doing the same thing. I’m old and ready to retire from healthcare.
Robert Earl Keene. Excellent choice in music!
I can't believe Mr. Can Pick up anything with a bucket and thumb, couldn't pick up two pieces of cardboard with the forks, lol.

That Bush Hog takes care of business! Thanks for bringing us along Chris!

Love your 350! I ended up putting retractable running boards on mine. I like the clean look when they are retracted. Also added air bags in the rear.

any advantage to this?
letsdig18 clearance id think
More ground clearance and lot less chance to drag in the mud. Actually looks a lot better also.
Looks a lot better too. Remove metal brackets as well.

Love running a rotary cutter, we have 4', 6' and 10'. Been running them 60+ years and still enjoy it.

Nice!! The truck barely even moved when you drove that tractor onto the trailer.
It's all fun and games until you hit a wasp nest. I once gave a Ford 3000 and bush hog to a nest of yellow jackets.
Good looking truck. They have killed the diesels with all that admission shit now.
The walk around. Sign of a true professional operator. And you found a "whopsee" during your inspection.
Damn that's a sharp lookin ride Chris !!!!
Ah, Robert Keen, your street credit just went up with me.
Thanks to you I now have to level my 2019 and get 37s as well. Thanks for making me spend money 😂😂
Get a paint matched tool box and the "Sunday" truck will be complete!
Your truck looks damn good. Just wondering on the leveling kit you used. I have the same truck and I want to level it but I don’t want to ruin the factory feeling
Im not exactly sure the brand I had a shop do it but it really does not feel much different other than sitting a little higher
Your truck didn’t move an inch when you loaded the tractor up lol thing is a beast.

Chris check the 3 point pins again the left one is about to come off a least loose im a chevy fan but that ford is a good lookin ride
Man !! That Truck is Saaweeettt !!! love it Chris , looks really Nice....
chris if its necessary you can replace just the twon boardsa on the other ramp
It's hard to soar like an eagle when your surrounded by Turkey's
Enjoyed the video bro, ya truck looks right smart.
Truck is looking even better with the upgrades.👍

It's a tad ironic the safety guard on the drive shaft is more dangerous than the spinning shaft...;-)
I thought my truck looked good until I saw yours. Guess I should have gone for the mud tires instead of at’s.
The Sunday Truck looks great! Very nice.
The truck is really looking nice with the upgrades Chris. 😍💪👍🇺🇲
New truck looks amazing!!
Hey Chris I dig your channel those fords are bad ass I hear you got a southern accent where you from
Thanks for sharing dude
He lives in Wendell North Carolina
At first look I thought those Toyo Open Country MTs were Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. What coilovers did you get? Bilstein? Looks real good!
3:40 with the leveling kit and the trailer now your high beaming everyone
I get flashed every day because my truck is leveled and i have leds. Im that guy
Chris love wn u put the camera outside on an job yur do n... Thanks... 🤓

David Riverman $100 hr to cut grass?? Wow, you’re doing good in this life
Still running the PA. plates on the trailer ?? That's a good looking tractor !! Best of luck with your new truck !!!
Damn! That truck looks awesome with the tires!!!
The truck looks really good so does that mean you have to be a wee bit taller lol 😂👍
Chris,
When you loaded the tractor, the left side of the trailers back end when down way more than the right side. It appeared the structure was weaker on the left.
One ramp is welded so it won't pivot I was seeing how I liked it before doing the other
Put that new truck to work and break it in right!!
When I was a kid in the 50's, we called it a brush hog
i heard that Chris has a farm channel. Does any one know what it is? Can seem to find it.
Does
FarmlifeNC is the other guy at the farm.
David AKA Hoss
Whats Up - you picture is hilarious! Well done sir!
Awesome rig. Perfect setup
I love that truck.
Did all the other turkeys have a nice Thanksgiving dinner? ;-)
More "letsfarm" than dig, eh?! Best regards from overseas! ;-)
Hey do I get royalties cause you’re still using my license plate on trusty rusty 😁😁
In N. C. You don't need a tag on a farm trailer so tell him to give it back. LOL!
J Britt it’s worse than that, he’s actually got a tag for it! haha

I need the center caps off that white ranger.
I wonder how long until you put airbags on that beautiful truck. Man, that's a purdy rig.
Should throw bags on the rear so you can air it up when your squatting

Love your videos bud but just noticed the way you chained the front of the tractor there if she tilts forward your chains would slacken
The truck looks sharp.
Quick bush hogging job, nice work Chris 👌👍⚠️
Absolutely love your videos!!
Awesome looking truck! Ford guy myself!
The new teucks lookin nice with the new rubbers
You have very good taste in vehicles..........
Good man for picking up the cardboard.
I have found it’s not a good idea to brush hog with the forks on as I can’t walk the tractor out if I get stuck with the forks ( I live in Lousiana my field is an ex rice/crawfish field )
How do you like the new f250(the white one)? I am getting a run around truck for my concrete company. It looks nice
I would like to ask Chris who feeds and looks after you Turkeys and Pigs/ Hogs when you are working all day and your Dogs.
Rear airbags if your going to pull trailers with it are well worth the investment
Oh where have all the Turkeys gone! 😢 and surprising the 9 remaining are still friendly 🦃 Gobble Gobble ; Hi Everyone from Germany
I’d recommend a firestone ride rite kit wile your throwing money at your truck
That biscuit sounded good. Might been a morning pre drank included in it with the upcoming kin folk moving in.
That is such a beautiful truck 🤩
Is it just me or did the back left side of the trailer really flex more than it probably should have when the tractor rolled on?
The old floppy PTO cover trick lol
Very nice Truck
I like the truck, it's sharp as a tac a little tall for me I 'm getting old but use to like my truck off the ground to
i like your white horse👍👍
I would have taken off those standard ford polished rims and put some nice BLACK 18" rims on it, and some decent tyres.
How’s that tractor treating you? I’m a deere guy but they’re high as heck.
But it’s so much fun when you hit rocks you here Them fly in but it’s better when you run over that steel property marker that was drove in the ground 100 and something years ago and you break the blade off the bush hog that makes some racket
