Ok so i would think since the truck stock throttle body and manifold when ported gains about 15hp and 30tq then starting from a stock unported truck intake too a ported tbss/nnbs manifold and throttle body would be about a 24hp and 46tq gain which is impressive and totally worth it! since it gain 9hp and 16tq in this video over the ported stock truck manifold and tb.
I just did the same swap with a 87mm throttlebody on my 04 suburban this weekend.Which was previously street tuned.Im on 35's and can definitely feel the low to mid range pick up and that's without a porting yet.

What I want to know is how do I port my stock lm7 5.3 intake manifold. Not bad in power gain. But I'm not sure if it's worth it for me. Thanks guys. I wanted to buy a nice high rise intake manifold from Amazon it's like $500 looks bad ass. A TEAM PERFORMANCE INTAKE MANIFOLD. Do you guys think that's a good one. It has a 102 throttle body.
I made a video 2 years ago on a dyno comparison from stock to ported tb and manifold with around 15 horsepower and 30 torque in gains! I honestly think it’s worth it but as always it’s your build, just sharing information.

I want to do a electric fan conversion too. I have a 2000 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 and a 2001 gmc Yukon 5.3. both are going to get painted. And I was thinking of getting the summit racing lm7 5.3 450 horsepower 420 torque for them. Not sure if I should alot of people say it's easy to make power with heads cam and intake. So I'm not sure if I should go with that 5.3 engine. Or do a 6.0 swap.

@@Jxmpie yeah the summit racing lm7 5.3 is about $3,600 what do you think . Just straight drop in. 450hp 420 torque
@@superior3384 you can get a 6.0 for that price from Thompson Motorsports. No replacement for displacement and bigger is better in the LS world. Hard to beat the 5.3 tho

This swap with the porting will do good for low end more than anything. But low-mid is where you see it
