Hey Gnarly Bear! I really enjoy watching your videos and after watching the Trestle guide I was planning to go! thought I would mostly lap spicy chicken but I was thinking the jumps might be a little to big. I’m a beginner to DH mtb and I have done gopher it at Copper and I was curious if there were any trails like that at Trestle or some with bigger jumps. Thanks so much!
@@Quicksy_ this video is at keystone, not trestle, but Keystone actually has a great new flow trail called mosquito coast. Its is a blue jump trail that’s a lil bigger than gopher it! Trestle doesn’t have anything quite as smooth and small with frequent jumps like gopher it has. Spicy chicken is a bit bigger like you said. Paper boy would be great, but it’s closed for construction right now and could get bigger too. It needs the work though IMO. The jumps are all rounded over

And thanks so much for the detailed reply! I was also thinking about going to keystone but someone told me they have older trails. I’ll have to watch more videos on keystone. And you like mosquito coast a lot?
@@Quicksy_ mosquito coast is a more beginner friendly and fun blue jump trail than anything at trestle right now. It’s stage 1 of this race in the video if you wanna see it. Spicy chicken is great too if you’re up for it though! Just a lil lippier. Radio flyer at vail is another great blue. Trestle has some good blues, but in general I more use the blues as connector trails to blacks than think “wow I’d really recommend that to someone”. A bit teacher, but field trip is an amazing blue black jump line at Trestle. There will be something for ya at most mountains! Gopher it is on the tamer side of trails though, so the other option will all be a bit bigger :). Nothing crazy though And no worries on commenting a different video, I eventually get to most comments!
