Lol exactly, i had a 76 just like it in 86 when I got my license and I had the air shocks pumped up with 12x15 deep dish cragers on the back with 50's on em and 6x15 cragers on the front riding around cranking up the ted Nugent and Boston, triumph, journey, and the 80's metal, touching boobies and smoking doobies, life was good back then !!!! Gen x rocks !!

My family had a used car lot back in the 70’s and 80’s. My dad loved those Monte Carlos and could sell the hell out of them. We tryed to keep at least 3 of them on the lot at all times but it was hard to do.
It's a sharp looking cruiser!1976 was a very good year for Monte Carlo too.

Nice 76 Monte Carlo I remember these were hot in the 80s. All the young guys were buying them putting wheels on them and putting dual exhaust on them. I remember going to the car auction in Cuba city Wisconsin on Thursday night's and get these for 800 dollars plus auction fee great memories car is worth the money very clean.

LOVE it had a 77 same color sold it to a guy who did a full restoration on it looks great, when I had it was a good looking car sold it to him and he went all the way with it.

My first nice car was a 76 I bought in 78. Mine had the Chevy rallye wheels and mirrors like this one. It was blue with white interior and landau top.
Love the car. I’d put dual exhaust, headers and rip out the cat. Also BF Goodrich Radial TA tires. It wood keep my 1970 Monte company in the garage

I bought a 1977 back in 1993. That was the first car I ever bought. It looked rough but it was very dependable and just floated down the highway. I put that car through hell and it just kept on going. After the worse hail storm I’ve ever been in busted the front and back glass I traded it in for $500. I miss that ugly old car.

My parents were shopping around for a car for my older brother back in 1989 in Loveland, CO. they already purchased a 1977 oldsmobile cutless just traded in sitting in the back of the dealership--my parents were only willing to spend $2000 for a car they were asking $3000 for the car they got it for $1600 then they went to another dealership just to look around some more and found 2 red 1977 monte carlos: both red one had low-low miles the price was $2900 they didn't buy it I even though was going to be turning 16 in only one year later==BOY! THOSE DAYS ARE OVER
I think this is the only one I have seen without tilt wheel, it's nice though wish i had seen it before it sold

What a fantastic vehicle. You just don't see many of them out here in northern California. I like the fact It's all there and hasn't been majorly modified or hacked up And take a good look at the dome light It works and look at the shape of The light cover it's Nice and clear. If I hadn't just purchased a 2002 Ford Harley edition F150I would be having this Monte Carlo shipped to my front door PS and I would keep this one California Smog Legal so please ignore The rumors that I stuck in A smooth idoline hydraulic roller Cam small block 400 yes please ignore those rumors lol Of course A 700 R4 tranny with that nice overdrive would compliment the 411 position. You know you've got to get 4000 pounds moving down the road LMAO
I'd keep the stock 350/th350 and highway gears as a nice cruiser but maybe add a glasspack for a little more rumble...🙂

Thanks for cranking out the tunes. That Carlo is a really clean, daily driver. Some Chevy rallies would improve that stance. Reminds me of an ol friend named Hulio.

WD40 those hood hinges instead of shaking them. If one breaks, you'll have a dent in a fender and one on the header panel. Ask me how I know...

i had a couple monte carlos like this ,,not in as good of shape though,were i grew up conbines were not weird heck i was 10 driving one for grandpa..I dont see a common thing for them cars Rust..The Price is not bad for the car..Only a Dumb nut runs from the law! If it had the Captains chairs in it it would sell like hot cakes, the 350 is probally not origional. Come on for the year that is not a bad car..or paint..At least it doesnt have a Vinal top like most did! yeah for the year that little rust not real big deal..Like i said before if it had a Vinal top i would worry ,,Id take it to macco have them paint it.. YOU Do a Excelent walk around ,ONLY A moron runs from the law,, She could use Dual Exaust,ID spray them hood hinges with some WD 40 ..
