Really liked this piece. Has lots of little surprises thrown in and they all work. Excellent. I have been a boogie woogie fan AND player for 60 years. There's no genre I like better.
I remember hearing you play this at the station house cafe in point reyes station, when I was a kid (2000 maybe?) We bought your album No Hats and still break it out 21 years later. Thank you for the music
absolute great and powerfull Piano. You are playing the Boogie-Woogie in your own style and in the time of our centuy. THANKS! I hope, we can listen ti your playing once in Switzerland
Totally not mechanically playing. This is boogie with a kind of "motor" or "running engine" feeling in the base, that what makes you feel that way, but this is just very right way to play boogie.
Her skill is amazing, but I just don't get that boogie woogie 'feeling' from it. It's like the notes are all there, but it's too proper and uptight. Just my perception, I guess.
Well, she is certainly a good pianist, but I always feel she is warming up and never hits that next gear. Good boogie woogie, but not enough emotion to make it great boogie woogie. I define great boogie woogie as that played by Meade Lux Lewis.
WOW!!! Pure Boowoo. Thanks Caroline!
Who the hell could dislike this?????

Parabens. Adorava saber tambem tocar assim
I watch this great video every day. :) Is there sheet for this piece anywhere?
more please.
sounds like just a closer walk with thee in this and some other gospel song
This type playing is very forgiving when a mistake is made but you still cannot distract the ladies skill, very quick thinking is still needed.
erinomaista fantastista
blackcowsteel, Thanks, I'll check him out.
Thank god, and she is better looking and younger then both of those blokes..
Sagenhaft!!!
Women can boogie!
Une main gauche de ouf!!!!
I am wondering about the chord progression.

go see them.... you see I can go see Dahl though, tell me how works out for you
Classically trained player
Her skill is amazing, but I just don't get that boogie woogie 'feeling' from it. It's like the notes are all there, but it's too proper and uptight. Just my perception, I guess.
Oh i hate her.
She is to good!
But i´ll try to be back here in ten years, to thank her for being one of my motivators.
Not as much syncopation, yes, a more classical spproach. She'll loosen up with time.
not a bad set of gams either....
I agree with 'Alfred Stehr' that she plays too mechanically. Technically correct, but not with the right 'feel' for the music.
Agree with redforever. She's good, but not in the same league as Meade Lux Lewis, or Jerry Lee for that matter.
Well, she is certainly a good pianist, but I always feel she is warming up and never hits that next gear. Good boogie woogie, but not enough emotion to make it great boogie woogie.
I define great boogie woogie as that played by Meade Lux Lewis.
She hits all the notes but plays mechcanically not to compare with the male players
She needs to loosen up, more syncopation. Talented, but a classical approach doesn't give the right feel.
Dale Howell And you are ?
Well repeted, not mush improvisation... boring...
well how about you play something "MUSH" better
this suck . there's nothing else to say
