“Sorry I can’t talk, I’m having too much fun” 🤣 needs to be a sticker
Not a bad idea. 🤔
Great vid Jared. Glad you were able to drop one. Looks like you were having tons of fun, which leads to the Cure! Still slowly upgrading my T8. 🤣
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah it’s been hard to squeeze out content lately, but when the opportunity arises I take it! T8 is an amazing bike.
Great Vid Jarad
Thanks for the support!
Love the raw POV while reviewing! Great discussion and review of the ebike, I really enjoyed the video!! Also, was that a nose bonk on Fire Line?!
Yeah I started bonking smaller bumps! Haha. Thanks man I’m glad you liked it. 💪
Great video Jared 👍 Packed all the details into a super fun vid to watch.
Glad you thought so! I tried to deliver all the info without letting it go stale.
Great video!
Thank you, Mr. Marsh!
If I had more places that allowed it by me, I'd definitely have this bike in my quiver for that price. Great video!
Yeah it’s interesting how some cities still aren’t down for them. Thanks for watching man!
Thanks for the review. None of reviews I find for this bike show how the battery can be removed for charging. Looks like you need to remove 4 hex bolts, which seems like a pain?
It's really simple! There's a key hole by the head tube on the bottom side of the top tube. You are correct! 4mm allen wrench and you crank it just a bit and it pops right out.
Great video.
I purchased a t7e about 2 months ago and really liked it but not sure how to set up the suspension.
I do primarily easy to moderate trail riding and weigh about 160 lbs including gear.
20% sag front and 30% sag rear is how mine was setup and it was great!
Excellent review Jared and you hit some pretty darn big jumps with that T7E.. How would you say the suspension compares specifically to the T6E since you have experience with both? Rock gardens and jumps in particular is what I am wondering... Thanks!
They’re both excellent bikes! Would be happy to ride either through big features! I do find the T7e to have a more refined experience in terms of suspension. The dampers/ air springs provide a much more controlled stroke. There were moments (not many) where the T6E felt more jarring and unpredictable than I would’ve preferred. Very similar to rockshox yari vs rockshox Lyrik if you’ve ridden those forks.
@@JaredRMorgan I really appreciate the detailed reply Jared.. I only have my T8 and a friend's Evo to compare it to so thanks again, Jay
Polygon is one of the best brands without spending tons of bucks. I enjoyed my N9 agile, strong and capable.
Absolutely. Get all the bang without going broke!
I had the Hans on my 2020 T7 and rode those til the knobs were no more. Also have to agree the dropper I’ve had for four years and honestly only has had one hiccup since then.
Right! The TranzX is just no frills. Love those posts. Pretty light too.
"Toilet bowl berms" 😂 but really, Fireline is running so good right now! And I hadn't heard of using E-Bikes as a training tool before, this has me intrigued.
Yeah man! They were so fun! And as for the training tool, that’s exactly what Evan is doing with his as of late so I’d definitely give his video a watch.
Polygon rocks!
💪💪💪
I got a Fuel Exe 9.7 a few months ago and I use it as my vacation and recovery ride bike. I still ride my analog bikes far more when I am at home as they are better suited to my local riding place than the Exe but that is more due to it being a trail bike vs my more xc or down country bikes. My trails are tight and narrow with a lot of really tight turns so lower speed handling rules the day. When i come up to Bville, well, I don't think my regular bikes will ever see Bentonville again lol
Makes perfect sense. For Bentonville visitation where you want to see everything and maximize your time, it’s definitely the way to go!!!
By the way, hope you’ve been doing well dude!
@CureCycling no hero points for climbing paved return trails. Plus it makes the return trail to the castle palatable for multiple runs lol
@CureCycling thanks I am. Haven't ridden much this year due to various reasons. Been getting back after it the past month or two. Next year should be a better year
Just bought one. I’m 5-11 and 165. What should me front and rear suspension be dialed in at?
Whatever it takes to achieve 20% sag up front and 30% sag in the rear. It will take some experimentation with a nice tape measure to get it dialed.
I just picked it up also, are your rear brakes on the right side of handlebars?
Congrats!! Yes mine is setup US style. Right rear. Left front.
@@JaredRMorganwow, I’m green just learned something new, thanks I’m having a ball 😬
i should have bought an ebike, mainly for longer rides when i last bought a new bike in 2020, good when i want to go a bit further, but perhaps become too tied to make it all the way home. Or riding too work, to prevent getting too sweaty
Ebike would be solid for those use cases for sure! I still think if I had to have one, a regular bike suits me best. However, as mentioned in my video, when my time is short…Ebike all the way!!
I just bought a medium size and i am 5ft 5inc and weigh 64 kg.
I find the default suspension a tad to firm.
Is it as easy as taking air out? is there anything to look at when adjusting it
That’s one way! You could also tweak the damper settings.
Hey really interested to see how you find the medium for size. I'm same hight but am worried it's going to be to big!
@alanroser6031
It's a tad bit big but I'm going to look at getting the dropper post cut a bit and get my suspension adjusted.
@@danielpsarras2534 thanks heaps for the info, my mate is 168cm 5'6 sounds like it would suit him perfectly?
Got the suspension tuned to my weight and its a different bike altogether. Rides soo much better more stable less hand pump.
Where is this? Looks fun
Bentonville Arkansas! Super fun trails.
Why couldn't it have been this price back in June? 🤣 Hard to complain about my Marin, though. Put about 600 miles on it so far, and I've improved certain skills leaps and bounds since we rode together. Couldn't have done that on my acoustic given my time (and leg strength) constraints.
That’s great! Everything happens for whatever reason, and you were meant to ride Marin! Haha. 😁
Damn you sold me. I used your link to buy one and they are out of stock of everything but XL. I guess i have to find a different one.
They’ll be back in stock very soon! This month in fact.
But either way I big time appreciate your efforts to support! 🫡
Ok. Thanks. I'll keep checking.
Drop / creek jump 💯

Would you say Polygon is ur favorite brand?
At this point in the game, I’m going to favor the Polygons heavily because I work for BikesOnline full time. I have a much deeper understanding of the brand than the average person, so yeah I really like them.
@@JaredRMorgan is it the only mtb brand they sell or just their top product?
I wish Polygon would make a T8/9e with Fox suspension, I'd be all over it. Or just sell frame only of these bikes.
I understand. A lot of riders prefer the fox stuff. Oddly enough, I’d say they’re probably one of my least preferred brands. Still solid stuff though for sure. My preference is normally either SR Suntour or Rockshox.
