Artist Spotlight - Nahte Renmus

Nahte grew up in New Hampshire, started freestyling around 13 years old, met Jarv through skating and started rapping with him and the other VT homie TeeceLuvv (at the time John Carter of Earth), and our friend Futawn (Shawn McNew). We started Maiden Voyage and got our first real gig through Mister Burns and the linguistic civilians crew, and from there started booking a lot of shows over a few years and made a little local name for ourselves.
He opened up for some legendary names like Masta Ace, Blueprint, and Mr. Lif and Akrobatik. More to name but it’s blurry at this point.
He started making beats around 20 years old and is 28 now, and has three self-produced projects under his belt including the recent album Funk.95, which features Jarv, the Texas homie Pajama Sam, and the absolute king that is Kool Keith. Master credits with Vermont Mongol Es-K. Living in bed-stuy BK for almost three years now with Jarv, Angus Davis (amazing homie and musician from VT), and now Robscure.
