Not as moist as the burger from the intro in resident evil 2 remake
lmao😂😂
That fucking burger held all of the water from the Pacific ocean in between it's buns.
The donuts in R3make can absolutely compete.

I feel like this is a 'patient gamer' game. Forget it exists, a year or so passes, you see it on sale on steam for $20 then finally get it.
Exactly what i just did with metro exodus and what I'm gonna do in this case
I got RE2 in October because the deluxe edition was on sale on PlayStation for $35 it was better than this
I did that with RE2. Phenomenal game. One of the reasons why I pre-ordered 3. It's funny though because it was $65, it's still not even here, and I haven't gotten a code for the costumes... I am being impatient, though.
@Jeremy Cremen Looking forward to getting Nioh 2 next. Got RE3 first because of the preorder bonus.
@Jeremy Cremen Gamestop is actually good for getting used stuff! And I'm surprised you've been able to resist buying it. Can't imagine there's that many better games out right now. But yeah...Nioh 2 will be a nice addition to the collection.
The fact that they didn’t put in the dead factory with all the dead Mr. X’s laying around is a big YIKES.
Chosen_Hun they put the room with the hunters and mutated tyrants in their test tubes
What about all the dead Vipas? Are those laying around somewhere?
Man I have to watch a let's play of the original...so many cool things cut from this.

Practically canon lmao
3 major “downgrades” in my opinion:
1. Noticeably reduced gore and blood that remains on the characters body from RE2
2. Cut content from the original (clock tower)
3. It Fucking took 5 damn hours to beat this, even while exploring. FOR. $60.
Graka Ganggang to be fair in RE2 it only takes like 6 hours to beat both Clair and Leon’s story on normal for me and the second scenarios are pretty much the same but I loved it and I’m scared to get this game cuz I was so excited but I don’t wanna be disappointed
@@local_funny_man3174 for me it took about to 7-9 hours for leon and standard. Mainly because I never used a walkthrough and I explored everywhere. I love resident evil so much so I also looked around alot.
@@local_funny_man3174 but aside from the 4 main campaign, you also have the really fun "what if" bonus content. I think they're focusing too much on the multiplayer
I bought it for like twenty-ish or so dollars when it was on sale and I never played the original so I didn't have anything to live up to so I was fine with it apart from the downgrades from Resident Evil 2
Re3 is meant to be played multiple Time if you only play it once you're missing out
I can't stress just how much content they cut from the original game. Also they skipped his second form in this game. His third form from the OG is his second in the remake.
His new 2nd form is essentially a giant licker.
His 3rd new form is just a wall of meat and limbs, a parody of RE final forms and the previous final boss.
His forth form he just shows up with flowers and an apology letter
Yep, and plenty of "people" keep blindingly praising this crap. I'm a huge fan of this game. I am going to buy it, but I will do it when it's deeply discounted. In the mean time, hopefully the pirates stick it to fucking capcom. Because, imagine, if there's outrage in the US, now imagine living in a third world country where the game costs about $68USD for some fucking reason, which is a couple weeks of groceries for a single person.
Zoomer Waffen And the word of the day is ‘Hyperbole’. It’s obviously inferior to the original but in no way is the remake a “massive pile of shit”.
@Zoomer Waffen Quit being such a baby, it's definitely not a pile of shit. Far from it.
Heavy lack of nemesis is what i took the most issue with
they hyped him up too much , saying his AI is so much more advanced than mr.x and that he chases u much more , Bruh.
Dark Souls they were right by technicality but honestly theres no point of even stating that if you only let that mechanic shine in like 1/10th of the game. They just used him to market the game and nothing else, he deserved better!
No almost half the game being cut but boring Boss is your biggest issue?
@@darksouls8667 hes more threatening than Mr. X
Didn’t they say Nemesis can go in safe rooms??
I’m fine with a shorter game but I’m not paying $60 for it 🤷♂️
Yea I bought a key of it for 40$ from a site , much more worth than 60$ no way im paying 60$ for a short game
That's why multiplayer comes with it.
That’s right 60 for 3-5 hours is not worth it . 40 €/$ is good .
@@bers6666 exactly!
Re2 went on sales rather quickly, and has done so multiple times now with some good price cuts. So waiting a bit is the reasonable thing
If they’d remake RE: Outbreak and was actually playable online with friends, I’d be so happy.
This is an idea I can get behind
Much as I agree with you. Capcom has essentially forgotten Outbreak exists.
When the closed beta for Resistance was being done, testers were given a survey that included what their favorite RE was and the list didn't have Outbreak while including ORC and fugging Umbrella Corps.
And after seeing how they kinda half-assed RE3make, I'm really not expecting anything good in the future for Outbreak.
i think about this all the time. i had so much resistance would be it but it was like metal gear survive
@@MoreEvilThanYahweh What a shame, Outbreak was a really good multiplayer RE game. ORC wasn't that bad but it wasn't great either and Umbrella Corps. I haven't played but I can tell it was garbage.
I'd say outbreak 2 more since it improved over everything then outbreak 1
It's funny how it almost perfectly mirrors how most feel about the original RE3. It lacks a lot of the soul 2 had, it has a lot less content, and overall is just...not quite as good as 2. It's a damn faithful remake to fall victim to the same comparisons lol
Good lord, tell me about it. I personally loved this game, people greatly exaggerate the so-called lack of content here, they replaced what they cut with new stuff, but aside from that, I'm amazed this game is getting the reception that it is, given just how accurately it portrays the overall vibe of the original. In my opinion, there was a lot of rose tinted glasses going around, combined with people expecting something of the same caliber of RE2 Remake just because it came so soon. Like you said, this is a near perfect mirroring of how the originals were received.
I mean, Remakes are meant to upgrade the game and address the mistakes the original had, not just doing the same with better graphics.
But sure, RE3 is kinda overhyped mainly for nostalgia and probably being the last numbered title to don't go full action like the future games did. Also, Nemesis is pretty much one of the most iconic characters in the entire franchise, but overall, RE3 was never as amazing as many are pretending it is. Still, it doesn't mean we couldn't have a game better than the original.
As a fan from back then, I can confirm that 100%. Most people really didn't like this one, and I also burned through it quick playing it on the PS2. RE3 was the start of the fall before RE4 brought the series back from the dead.
SubTonic I think the fact they were able to replicate the reception is impressive in itself honestly
@@nidhikih2451 I'd argue it is a better game than the original, personally. I think it's more fun to play and the writing, voice acting, and everything else that comes standard with a remake is great here.

This game was clearly rushed by Capcom to capitalize on the success of the RE2 remake. It came out less then a year after RE2 remake. They need to slow down people will wait longer for a better game.
It came out a year and 3 months after RE2 remake, actually, but I hear you
Resident Evil 3 was fundamentally smaller then RE2. I saw this coming from a mile away
Original RE3 was slapped together in 8 months too. That's canon.
Just like the original haha
Another team worked on this game.... and they are working on a shitty mutliplayer for it.
Should’ve released this and re2 as a two in one package, would have made up for the lack of content
Tom M there is a bundle for like 80 dollars
HEEEY!
It comes with their multiplayer mode though. Charlie forgot to mention that.
Most people aren’t buying it for the multiplayer mode. It doesn’t even make you download resistance when you get the game. It’s completely optional.
Why would they do that when they can make money instead?
I'm so disappointed with this. Downgrading the zombies physics and limb stuff. And I was so looking forward to nemesis after how mr x was handled. This was the one i was waiting for...
I suspect they cut back on production to get this thing out before the new console so they could max sales on current gen before they drop.

Death Stranding is a masterpiece and Charlie is an idiot.
Finished the game in less than 4 hours. Capcom should've taken their time to add a little more content to it.
Or just left a lot more of the original content in it. I was so fucking surprised when I started it and you already meet Carlos at the beginning well shit happened to getting to the train car
From what I’ve heard they cut like half of the original game out
@@flecjohnson5150 dumb choice, even tho I never played the originals I'm not going to pay 60 bucks for an around 5 hours of gameplay, if the originals were made in hd I'd buy even with the tank controls.

For me and most people I’ve seen it took 6 hours on hardcore with over an hour of cutscenes and then you unlock nightmare mode. You also get a multiplayer mode with the game.
If you are good with 3rd person shooters its even faster than that unfortunately. My first run through was on hardcore and took 2 hours and 40 minutes with getting all weapons and upgrades. I am disappointed with this game.

I feel like the way they handled Nemesis is representative of the whole game. Awesome, fun, has moments of greatness, but it's juuuuust not enough, it's close, but they could've done more. It's like "leave them wanting more", except they gave us RE2 first, so we already had more. If this came first, I don't think it'd be as much of a problem.
Exactly.

@@bers6666 I mean, you had 20 years to play it
Yeet ok bud I think it’s time to step down from that soapbox
oh no he's spoiling a 21 year old game, what a crime
Nemesis sucked. 80% of encounters with him are demos and they took out all puzzles and clock tower. The whole idea of nemesis was he chased you throughout the game.
Ali Rohan actual no it’s not. In the original game, nemesis was always scripted just like in this one
@Tom Rees Mr. X was also only a scripted encounter and the remake changed that and made him a constant threat. They should have done the same for a BOW nicknamed “The Pursuer.”
The Cave Troll They Had yeah I agree with you. Just see a lot of people saying he was always chasing you in the original which he wasn’t haha.
Tom Rees i remember when I was a kid and played the original and I would run as quickly as possible just to get into to any room so nemesis wouldn’t kill me. That was almost the entire game. It was scripted but he was constantly after you. In this he’s just on you for the beginning of the game and the rest are boss fights and demos. Also the 2nd and 3rd boss fight are pretty much the exact same one.
bryann go exactly. I was looking forward to the remake of nemesis killing brad but they cut that out. He doesn’t even smash through walls to catch you or anything. Like wtf?
So its 4 hours....and the demo took about 35min when you collect everything like I do...so a free demo was 1/8th of the full game???
More like a 1/6th of the game. A lot of the time is padded out by cutscenes
Yeah there's way too many scripted sequences. This game just does not let you off the leash at all.
The demo part is the only section of Nemesis pursuing Jill lol

Honestly, it’s the perfect game to get on sale I think, that’s what’ll I do with this one. I absolutely loved RE2, but that one had a ton more content.
The sad thing is that I did the same with RE2, got the deluxe edition for around $24. Even if I get this game on sale, it's still less bang-for-your-buck than 2 was.
I wonder when Code: Veronica will get remade. Part of me hopes they keep Alfred's original, beautiful voice.

This was my first RE game and in all honesty, I enjoyed the hell out of it. The final hour or so of the game got a bit annoying and the ending left a bit to be desired, but I really did enjoy the pacing. I did get the game for like 40$ off some greymarket key site and for that price I don’t regret it for a second. Gonna get the RE2 remake now, but either way this was a fun way to pass a night.
Nah 60 bucks for 4 hours in this day in age in any senario is a no. Doesnt matter how good those 4 hours are. That's half a game.
Fan of the series and RE2make especially, and I would parrot essentially everything you said
Judging by your thoughts on the Resident Evil puzzles, I can tell you were really missing those wild puzzles from Half Light.
Can you do the movie "Promare" next, please.
RE3 Remake was just a DLC for REsistance
Bruh. resistance sucked ass nobody is interessted in playing an online RE game lmao , I mean just the concept is not fun , unlike RE out break where u run around as 4 people in an RE game which is amazing , imagine if they remade that instead of Reisistance , the package outbreak + RE3 would've been 100000% worth 60$
Dark Souls Resistance doesn’t suck ass at all. It’s good for what it is. Your opinion isn’t everyone’s opinion.
Sonichackedyou he just stated his opinion
@@darksouls8667 have you played resistance?
@Play Gloria Except there's loads of people that have literally been judging the game by how it looks instead of playing it and telling other people to not play it.
I agree with everything you’re saying and i knew i wasn’t bugging when playing as Jill wondering why i have such limited space. I swore i missed a pouch or two compared to Carlos.
Its funny cause when you look back to the whole RE series this is when the series tips from puzzle driven to action driven. So i understand the lack if puzzles to an extent
40 hours of padding, someone has death stranding PTSD
40 hours of padding feels like FF7 Remake Midgar just stretched out a little bit
I don’t really think Nicholai is the bad guy of the game, he’s more of a side-douchebag. Nemesis was more of the actual main bad guy imo.
I can say one good thing that came out of this game, it reminded me to play RE2 again
I missed a lot in my first playthrough and I went through most of the game searching for every little thing. Im going to replay it just so I can grab what I missed before nemesis pursued me.
I can't wait for Resident Evil 7 Remake!
Woah woah, Its not 2029 just yet
Chinese government: Write that down!
Zoomer Waffen your opinion is a fuckin turd
More like re4
Probably a die hard RE fanboy that thinks Re7 has nothing to do with other Re games so therefore it's shit, if you actually played the game which I doubt since literally everyone that's played it thinks it's good you would know the mold is actually a disease created by a rival of Umbrella, that infected a family after the ship it was on crashed in a bayou. Also gameplay wise the game is a really good horror game and btw, it saved RE as a franchise.
Crit can you do a Moister Meter on the new Netflix movie called “The Platform?”
I like ur vids btw :)
65% no way and you gave cyberpunk 70%
I agree with you for the most part, but I don't think it lacks replayability. Unlocking the shop after you beat the game, and being able to purchase new weapons and coins, etc makes me wanna go back in to see how they do.
It was clearly a rushed title. I still am enjoying it however. And the replay value for unlocks is fun.
I enjoyed it too, but I guess we're gonna have to give Resistance a chance if we want our money's worth.
I honestly do agree that the content is a bit lacking in terms of length but, I genuinely loved the game. I have beaten it three times going on my fourth. To me it was worth the price tag just because I wnjoyed the story and have done it so much and plan on playing it more.
your profile pic brings back memories. unpleasant ones.
@@mikeehrmantraut1899 True, that is why I agreed with him. I just said from my personal opinion that I genuinely enjoyed the story and have played through it multiple times and plan to continue to do so. I never said that it was incredibly long haha.
I'm glad you didn't get rid of Jackson's intro
Still looks like a fun game as I’ve never played any of the original resident evil games. Having that big guy constantly be a threat is nerve wrecking
RE3 is my favorite resident evil so kinda feel like I was done a little dirty
All I know is I got both remake editions for $32 instead of 75 and I very happy with these games
💯💯
They did add a dodge and perfect dodge mechanic. Which I find absolutely clutch at times.
Although I whole heartedly agree, I think the reason why the developers took away the stages and areas where Nemesis could constantly be on your ass is probably because of his running mechanic. Since he can run and grab you from quite a distance away, they were probably thinking “If we give Nemesis the same attention as Mr. X, it will be impossible to even temporarily escape Nemesis.” But I honestly think that would’ve made the game even more terrifying. Just hearing those fast heavy footsteps and the sound of Nemesis growling “Stars” behind you as he chases you through hallways. Holy shit that’d be badass, thanks to the creators for putting thought into it but they should’ve put more thought into it in all honesty.
To this day, REmake1 remains the best of the REmakes. The only one to ONLY add content and not cut it, that game is just shy of perfect.
REmake 1 did cut alternative story routes, but it was great.

i agree on most of what you said but the replay value thing i disagree on, maybe its just me because ive been an RE fan most of my life but ive replayed through the game multiple times to try and get a better rank. i genuinely enjoy the boss fights even though they are tedious and nemesis does feel like a bullet cushion, but again that might be just my bias. everything else is very well said! love you man
Dude, manscaped's trimmer is a mini torture device
People complained about the length of RE2 last year as well, insofar as to call it a 5 hour game. I sunk at least 30 hours into that. The gameplay and atmosphere is just so great to me that I love replaying it, going for all the records, S+ Hardcore runs, etc. Platinuming it was a joy, I loved every minute of it. So I really don’t understand the “it’s only 4-5 hours long” criticism (which it isn’t, by the way. First plays take at least 7-8 hours. The clear time does not include cutscenes, radio conversations, etc)
You have to understand. Aside from different difficulties there is absolutely no other modes. Atleast re2 has hunk and tofu but RE3 has nothing sadly. Aside from a really mediocre and boring multiplayer. What I’m trying to say is that the content here is so little unlike re2. Also re2 has different scenarios, bonus modes, and at least a b scenario even tho it wasn’t that good it gave us a little extra content as in the intro and end
A Ames I understand just fine. There is less content in the base RE3 versus RE2, agreed. There’s still probably 15-20 hours worth of stuff for me to do since I strive to platinum RE games and get all the records because I find them so enjoyable. But one of the things I find most disingenuous about people’s complaints about length versus cost is that RE3 is only half the $60 price tag. Most people seem to pretend Resistance doesn’t exist. Even Charlie made no mention of it in his review. If we choose to look at it that way, RE3 should easily be worth $30, at least to me. I’m still working on it though, and haven’t touched Resistance, so the jury’s still out. Is Resistance worthless? Maybe. Perhaps Capcom oversold the quality of it, or just used it to justify selling RE3 for $60. I was just pointing out the complete dishonesty of RE3 critics.
JScriv yeah I can see that I haven’t heard much of what critics said about it. But I did talk to some freinds who also bought the game and their opinion and mine are the same. Resistance is just isn’t good. It’s boring and not worth more than maybe 5-10 bucks at best. I do also believe that RE3 should’ve been around 30 bucks so if you add that with resistance it should’ve been 40$ which also would’ve been a better deal than 60$
@@aames1089 Let's not forget that RE2 had multiple character skins and unlockables that you could only get from completing the game at higher difficulties/better times. RE3 doesn't even have skins for Carlos, it's incredibly basic stuff that takes no time at all to make. That's why it's so blatantly obvious that the game was rushed.
Day 506 of asking Charlie to do a moist meter on LEGO Star Wars the complete saga
Stay strong soldier
Hopefully there's free story DLC to compensate for the short length and not some just arcade gameplay. But who knows. It's a great 4-5 hour campaign nonetheless. There's some replay-ability with upgrades you get after you beating the game through achieving points/XP. Like an infinite ammo handgun, rocket launcher, etc. 60$ is still a bit a steep in its current state though.
Game was good the first half. The parasite part was my fav it was so tense. Wish the game was longer I feel like it was cut a lot
06:32 - Charlie, did you really try to mix a red herb with a 2-green-herb mixture? Lol
4-5 hours is just too short for $60 in my opinion.
Err comes with a multiplayer DBD like game though.
Yeah Okay have you played it? Or just jumping on the bandwagon
My problem was seeing the same pots and pictures everwhere I ventured, felt lazy in that aspect.

Nemesis spawned all the time in the original....
Murakami Scripted or non-scripted?
@@BronsonFan111 nemesis in the orginal was scripted, they just hid it very well and with being able too kinda pick your own path you could delay and slightly change how he appeared, but he was 100% scripted
steve brownie Okay, that’s what I thought. I never played the original so I needed some clarification, but the whole scripted aspect I’m sure was there because there’s no way they could’ve done all that dynamically. But seeing that certain things can and can’t trigger it is really interesting!
love the aussie girl who introduces the ad. good production
I agree with you on this. It's a good game, but it's not what I expected.
"I dont know and I don't care" welcome to Japanese writing lmao
The remakes feel like the originals in that they were extremely linear making you follow a direct path. The new game do the same thing and honestly destroys the experience. Because now we have the capability to explore to do more. But capcom didn’t expand in that. It would of been interesting to see raccoon city expanded seeing everywhere jill went, the secrets and little side missions she did etc. As well as carlos and the rest of the protagonists.
Apparently re3 was originally supposed to be a spin off of 2 which might explain why it was short
6:15 funny thing about that...my dad has played this game 6 times now trying to buy all the items in the shop and trying to do all the challenges
Bruh...
$60? For a 4-5 hour long campaign?
You could go to the movie theater and see three separate 2 hour long movies for about $10 each and still not spend $60.
