Could be worse, I have a HP omen laptop from like 2017/18. With a 1050 I think a i5 7th gen, 8gb ram, 500ssd and 1tb hdd. It can run Apex in Titanfall2 settings, OW in Low medium. I do want to get a prebuilt pc just as a starter but I also want to throw some ram into my laptop and switch the HDD for a SSD to see if it'll run just run better

You might be the only guy I've encountered who actually comes close to using the absurd amount of SATA ports available on most motherboards
Lucky you no HDD failures. Should run the sata's in raid for giggles.
The amount of data I hoard is immense (although my internet is not super fast, but I live by the rule that I should not leave my internet idle for a second.)
Now Ive accumulated 17 saturated hard drives and installed them all on a server because what kind of motherboard has that many SATA plugs ?

I got 2x t5 ssd's and 1x 2tb hdd. There quick and enough storage.. with steam we just install and uninstall games and steam has back up data for saves if you need to reinstall.. storage doesnt require tb anymore just management...

Bring disabled and having issues working full time I can't afford to buy batteries for the neurostimulator implanted in my back, let alone pc parts. Stupid work injury, 7 spine surgeries and I can't pay my bills. This pc is nuts, absolute dream rig there.
