Hi ☺️ My skincare routine is similar to yours but i want to introduce another product. First i clean my skin Use alpha arbutin Next retinol 1% Squaline And know my doubt is, can i use the tranexamic acid from the inkey list after the retinol or before? Or can't be used in this routine?
Hi there and love your routine! If your skin can tolerate Tranexamic Acid and Retinol together then yes absolutely but sometimes this pairing can be harsh for some skin types and it could lead to further irritation/dryness. If you choose to use it then I would be applying the Tranexamic Acid prior to Retinol as I am assuming the formulation you would be using is thinner in texture.
I love your videos!!! Thank you for your time :). I would like to know if I could use the Ascorbic Acid 8% +Alpha Arbutin 2% instead of the Alpha Arbutin 2%+HA in this routine? Thanks
can I use niacinamide and copper peptides together? if so which one goes first? also which of these two are safe to use when out in the sun? I dont want hyperpicmentation issues. do these make you sensitive to the sun?
Thank you very much for the video, I was just wondering how I can incorporate Glycolic Acid 7% Solution to my routine, can I apply it right after I wash my face and then use the exact same products you used in the video? Thank you so much❤️❤️
You are so welcome... You don't want to use the Glycolic Acid Toner with Retinol as this pairing can be harsh and irritating on the skin. The nights you don't use Retinol incorporate the glycolic acid after cleansing on dry skin with the other products mentioned in this video.
if facing acne and hyperpigmentation both . can we use this rotinue ? Alpha arbutin is ok to use in acne skin care rotinue ??? actualy my dark circle are like pigmentation . darkness joined like a crowfeet on my cheekbone
Do you suggest this retinol routine for every evening throughout the week? If so, how many weeks in a row? Or do you alternate this routine with other routines throughout the week?
Yes! You can use this routine every night or every other day it really depends on your skin and if it can handle retinol on a daily. Start with a few times a week to start and gradually increase your usage once you know how your skin is tolerating to the retinol. Retinol or Retinoids are a long term commitment. Once you start it's best to continue with it for years to come.
Hi 🇳🇴 can i use the Argeline solution on my deep line first? Maybe wait 20- 30 min and then use the rest in the routine? Or is it a. conflict with the other products?
Hi there! You can use Argireline in this routine if you like. The Ordinary recommends not to use Argireline with Direct Acids (glycolic, lactic etc) and vitamin c as these can conflict,
Hi there! Happy to hear you are seeing an improvement with your skin ☺️ Yes, you can use Retinol in the summer as well as all year round just make sure you are wearing sunscreen everyday😉
I don't use a separate eye cream. This is an example of a routine for hyperpigmentation so I didn't share anything for the eye area for "anti-aging." You could use the Argireline Solution under the eyes if you wish.
Yeah, I’ve tried ALL of these, didn’t work for me & I’ve mostly moved on from TO. Ugh, ANYTHING with Squalane breaks me out immediately. The Good Molecules Discoloration Serum has really helped me with redness, more than ANY of the products you’re using in this vid. The Alpha Apbutin did absolutely nothing for me & the TO Niacinamide irritated me terribly.
Thanks for this …. A question. I have The Ordinary … Argireline Sol 10% …at which point…am or pm can I use and in between which other Ordinary product should it be applied. I thought it was for hyperpigmentation also?
Argireline is more for signs of aging (fine lines and wrinkles). You can use it a.m. and/or p.m. but the Ordinary says not to use it with Direct Acids & Pure forms of Vitamin C. Apply Argireline with your water based serums and before creams.
PM skin routine for hyperpigmentation
Step 1: Squalene cleanser
Step 2: Alpha Arbutin (4-5 drops)
Step 3: Niacinamide serum (4 drops)
Step 4: Retinol 1% in Squalene
Step 5: Moisturizer
I love all the products you used in this routine 😊 Thank you Ashley 😘
You're so welcome☺️

So you don’t put anything on eye areas? Or do you use separate eye cream?
