I think he may need a last name and I thought Lepidoptera or something like that. It's the scientific name for moths and you said he was on the moth side so I'd just thought I fit.
Maybe William would be a good name replacement for him, since Bill is the nickname for it. Plus it sounds sophisticated, and it wouldn't undermine anything you might've made with his old name. As someone who also has an outlandish amount of old OCs, it definitely isn't easy readjusting to their new names. Love the redesigns btw!
Ah yes, that moment of epiphany when you write or draw something and suddenly lore implications start popping up. I adore it when that happens. It's so much fun seeing it happen to someone else.

I heavily recommend looking at Jojo's outfit designs and THEIR inspirations. Seeing how they manage detail and creative design without being overwhelming. And then creating maybe a pinterest board and finding similar outfits! The sun side is giving me regal/noble vibes while the moths give me cottage-ish villagers. I'm excited to see what they story is about!!

i think the reason why Bill's design looks better is because of contrast. Bill's has more dark and light colors, and Pandora's has mostly brown and blue that are similar in tone. But if it works for your story, that's great!! Can't wait to see more!

Idk if you've thought about this but considering the fact that making comics and anything more ambitious like that takes a long time, I think (especially considering how much good free software there is for making these) that you should make some short little visual novel! Your artstyle would suit it well and you could make something short and sweet to give your world intrigue and maybe a small audience before you start exploring its world more in-depth in the future. It's obviously a decently sized undertaking but I just was thinking about it while watching and thought I'd say something abt it. I found your channel a few days ago and have been loving everything!
