Love this! I'm 58 and am growing out my pixie cut that I've worn for most of my adult life, so medium length is new for me. I decided to grow it during the pandemic lockdowns which helped get me through the awkward stage and am loving playing with nea styles. This one has become my new favorite! Thank you so much for providing such detail, it really helped!!❤

The tool that you use with the topsy turvy would work well getting that style together.

I tried this style today and really loved it! One question…how do you keep the headband from slowly slipping backward as the day goes on?

haha...I have long VERY thick hair, and dunno if I can do it myself :/

Yes, so do I - VERY thick. My stylist has to schedule extra time when she cuts my hair. I've never been to a stylist who hasn't commented on how much hair I have and how thick it is... but my hair has been very thinned out with thinning shears my most recent visit. Even so, I don't think this style would be a problem for you. In my Asymmetrical headband video my hair wasn't nearly has thinned and it still worked pretty well. Wait... just how long is your hair? Ha ha. Mine is just to my waist.

nope my hair is to the middle of my back, used to be that long. I'm so "tender headed" my stylist (my Mama) DREADS, when she has to trim and thin out my hair. She cut it really short about a year ago. I donated it :) she cut off almost 2 feet of my hair! I felt like I lost weight...lol

+Rhonda Magee Oh yes, I know what it's like to get that much cut off and it does feel a lot lighter... even just getting it thinned feels so much lighter! Good for you for donating it! :)

I did the hairstyle for picture day tommorw. I was testing to see how easy it was. I sent a picture to my boyfriend asking him if I should do it for picture day. He said I looked like a four year old!
