Once we get over our fears and nothing IS of-limits to us a traders,IT opens up a whole world of Areas to develop out a playbook....Particularly in spots where others Are scared to go!!!! This very important Sentance I liked! Thank you for video 🙏❤️
Good advice...I have a list of of tickers I've traded regularly over the past couple years, consisting of multiple industries/cap-size/offense-defense. I don't trade them every day, or even every week. The thing they have in common: a high ATR/Price ratio with big momentum swings in the past; Most of them average a >5% price range daily so a catalyst can easily make 10% moves in a day...In this stage 1 market when there are what I call "giddy bull days," or if one of them (or their industry) has a catalyst, I know there's the potential to catch 5+% moves as long as I'm paying attention.
You got me again Lance! …Volatility is where it’s at! Anything else is too f@&$kin slow and is a waste of time and capital! Learnt the hard way! Great video! Big boy! 👍🙂
Learning with 1 share is a good idea. Here's another one: I started my wife out with $100 in Robinhood with a promise to deposit the balance on each successive 10% growth until I could no longer do so. This increases her risk as experience is gained in a positive feedback loop. She's made 12%, so the new deposit brings the account to $224 and the next goal to $246.40. It takes 7 deposits to get over PDT like this assuming you can afford to make the deposits. This also means that the original $100 has seen +94.8% return. Getting to that first deposit was the hardest $12 she's ever made.
"Broken Slot Machines" - I love it! Great phrase.
This channel is superb. As a relatively new investor, let me say the content is MUCH APPRECIATED, guys.
Good grief, another quality bit of education, these guys never stop, compliments to SMB.
Yesssss!!!! Lance puts out a new video. Get your popcorn boys and turn up the fucking volume and listen in. Let’s Goooooooooooo!!!!!!!
I never understood why people keep saying volatility is risky. Finally someone is making sense! 🙂
I like the analogy to poker to manage the emotional risk. I also like that you use EV to look at trades.

Lance, do you know people who daytrade index or crude futures profitably? Seems like those would rarely be considered broken slot machines...🎰
Well said, "Fear and Greed" creates volatility and opportunity.
