We started this kind of too late with our daughter (30mos) but this method was still incredibly effective, and this was probably the most useful video we found on UA-cam for this. Thank-you so much for the great content! We actually just started it over a normal 2 day weekend on a Saturday morning. Day 1 there were a lot of tears and resistance in the morning but some successes in the afternoon. Day 2 was better. Day 3 was daycare with only 2 accidents. Day 4 she woke up dry and had no accidents at daycare. The night of day 4 she begged to wear panties and not pull-ups to bed. By the morning of day 5, she no longer told us when she needed to go, but instead just went to the bathroom and did her business all by herself. I was floored at how fast this was. Give it a try! It really worked for us!
My 16 month old son is potty trained with this method to! He has some accidents here and there mostly when he is playing and is distracted. But he has a lot of accident free days to! It was a wild ride especially for me. Hopefully it will be easyer with the next baby and I really applaud you for doing this with 3 kids! Go mama👏🏻👏🏻

And I will attest that #2 was easier for us BECAUSE she already had a foundation because of how much modeling she saw because of her older sibling and I talking about it for months and months and months leading up to potty training herself! Can I just say I’ve watched SO many videos on UA-cam to try and work it all out as my eldest has literally just turned 2 and wanted to start potty training. I also have a 6 month old. And all the other videos I have watched are when their kids are already potty trained and not helpful at all. Where as your video shows accidents, and what it is actually like day to day!! Thank you so so much! I was so close to giving up by watching other videos and their kids seem to have got it within in a few hours we are on day 4 and we’re going good, the only thing she doesn’t tell me when she wants to go, she just runs to the potty and has pee pee and poo poo so I’m not sure how we’re going to get to the communication stage where I can take her out with pants on. We took her out yesterday first time with pants and it wasn’t a success. 3 accidents in the space of 2 hours. (We tried pee pee on the potty multiple of times but didn’t go). But she’s cracked at home naked part now which is good! It’s still early days! Xx

Thank you for posting, but I'm a little confused by the title and description. 21 months is pretty much 2 years old, or at least closer than 1 year. I'm working on training my 14 month old. I don't expect the same pace but hopefully this well help us!
I would love to hear...(1) how much you have to prompt vs. your kiddo self-initiating (aka you telling them to go pee vs .them telling you they have to pee) AND (2) how many accidents you have on average with your older and younger kiddo. I also used the "Oh Crap" potty training method with my first (inspired by your first video with you son, actually!)
I'm curious to know too because it seems like she's really good at self-initiating, but that's rare, you normally have to prompt the kid most of the time I think

Hi there! Congratulations on your new baby! With your son only being 17 months old, I personally would wait until about three months after your baby is born or so! When your family has gotten into a good groove, you feel very settled with your new baby, and your son has had adequate time to adjust! Feeding a new baby is so time-consuming! Our little one was a month and a half old when we started potty training but she already had another sibling so there wasn’t as big of a transition! You can totally do this! 💛

I like this video of her going potty. Despite the fact. There isn’t pee pee sounds as she pee’s in the potty. She did have accidents but she did a good job though going potty of peeing.
Such a traumatising experience. First teling somebody it will only take 2/3 days to train a toddler is utter rubbish. Second no child is the same. And third heavily editing your video to show only 1 or 2 accidents and them participating in potty training. I do feel like a massive failure after watching this video.
Please dont do this around her brother , should be privacy..a reason in schools why theres boys and girls bathrooms..boy looking at girls private parts not good parenting..😮😕

Laying out x-large doggy training pads on the floor where you need to might help. Not on the kitchen/bathroom floors, but on carpet.
