If Nintendo were to remake F-Zero X for 3DS and Switch, the race would end immediately after all 29 of your opponents fall off the track; that would mean that you win by default. Same thing would happen if you were more than 30 seconds ahead of the racer in second place; the race would end immediately you win by default.
Custom Fzero X tracks are always a blast to check out! the giant circle at 13:00 is so cool! first its a tunnel then 2nd time around you go on the pipe... so dope!
LG GM I don't know the details about this but the CPU likes to move back and forth laterally in a pipe. You can see this in Sand Ocean 1 but to a lesser degree. If the pipe is something like that, you will end up with CPU racers smashing each other and not move beyond that pipe.
If Nintendo made an F-Zero game for Switch and 3DS, they'd call it F-Zero Ultimate; every machine, pilot, and track from all of the previous F-Zero installments would be available from the beginning, along with the following: New machines New pilots New tracks New Cups: SNES Cup, N64 Cup, GCN Cup, GBA Cup, Switch Cup (replacing the Jack, Queen, King, Joker, and X Cups) TEN tracks per Cup (tracks in each Cup would be chosen at random [with the exclusion of the Switch Cup, which would consist of ten brand new tracks]) Machine creator Character creator (start from scratch or use a Mii) Track creator UNLIMITED spare machines per Cup (no more GAME OVER message) Character-specific Story modes (the story depends on the character you choose) Cup creator (choose ten tracks, name your Cup, and begin racing) FOUR laps in each race Tutorial mode (learn the controls with the help of Captain Falcon) All racers giving their autograph during the interview with Mr. Zero (MUST become Champion to this to happen) Unique bios for each racer An option to end the race when your machine is more than up to 30 seconds in front of 2nd place or when your machine is the only one left on the track (both options would make you win by default) Online racing for up to 30 players (Switch version only; 3DS version does online racing for up to 15 players) 30 MACHINES to start each race (Switch version only; 3DS version has 15) ESRB rating: E10+ Release dates: February 2024 (Japan); April 2024 (EU & Oceania); August 2024 (US)
Agree with most of that. Also would be nice to see some more abilities like EMP to disable enemy boost momentarily. And weathr like thunderstorms meteor showers. Class-based races to limit performance upgrades for fair competition would help too :)
I think those would be toggled on and off in F-Zero Ultimate's Options menu; also, a Difficulty option would be added so that the CPU racers would be set to one of five choices: Beginner, Novice, Standard, Advanced, Expert (CPU racer max speed would depend on setting [1250 MPH {Beginner}, 2500 MPH {Novice}, 3750 MPH {Standard}, 5000 MPH {Advanced}, or 6250 MPH {Expert}]). The only thing that I'd remove from the main menu would be the Death Race mode (takes you over TEN [EXPLETIVE] MINUTES for you destroy the other machines to be the last one standing).
you can find a patch to make them with your rom at www.romhacking.net/ along with the Side B pack. you'll need a .v64 rom for them since that's what i used to make the patch. if it doesn't work, just tell me so that i can retrieve FZEP files for it (it'd take a while since i don't have them available)
I'm trying to play both your hacks, but neither one is working. I downloaded the Lunar thing to play the ISP hacks. Then I followed the Readme instructions, but they still don't work. And I'm trying to play them on Project 64. What should I do?
i found out the issue a while ago. it is the rom itself. you know there's .v64 and .z64 roms, right? that's the problem. the patches work good only on one of them. a .v64 rom should work correctly but those are less common than .z64.
OK. I'll see if I can download the original F-Zero X ROM that is .v64. The one I have is .z64, so I guess THAT's the problem. If I find the .v64 ROM and I get all of this to work, I'll thank you then.
I have been unable to find F-Zero X ROMS that are .v64 files. They were all known as .z64. Is there a way you can privately tell me where to find any? Also, can I possibly convert the .z64 ROM that I have into .v64? Thirdly, will either of your hacks work if I used the Original ROM as a .n64 file type? If you say no to all of these questions, then I guess I'm out of luck. And I was able to play Piccolo's Climax Hack no problem after following its Readme.
2 minutes into the video and I see 29 enemies falling off the track in the first lap...expectations have been awakened!

51:16 - Complete AI fail. LOL.
Silence 2 Kaiotour could have been renamed: Silence 2 Globe of Death. For once, death was indeed the better option, for the majority of AIs.
Thank You Every Cars Died except Jack and King or Queen and Joker

how did you transfer your edits cups from the f zero x expansion kit to fzep? because i want to transfer my edits cups to fzep.
i rebuilt everything manually. there's no easy way.

i despise ips patches and i despise anyone who uses them. i have never, and i mean NEVER, gotton a patched rom to work in my life.
