  • Check out the PKnight Wi-Fi DMX controller here: amzn.to/3ihGjDH
    The Wi-Fi Cannon wp1 from PKnight is an affordable DMX control solution and wi-fi transmitter than you can get on Amazon for under $100. It not only allows for DMX control of your lighting via smartphone or computer but it also transmits the signal wirelessly over wi-fi (and does it for around half of the name brand hardware). If you're tech savvy and don't mind finding an app that you like and doing a bit of experimentation, this may be the perfect way to test the waters of DMX control and see if it's for you.

    Thanks so much for the review. I've been reviewing Vibrio and other online software for lighting; and really I'm just trying to figure out the wifi DMX interface issue. Ideally, I'd love an all in one kind of hot-spot concept - and this appears to have that functionality. Did you by chance test it for any distance? If so, any thoughts? Also, have you used it in a performance or show-like situation where you can test the reliability - or even for just more than a few minutes? I'd guess it would work fine up close and for a short period of time. --- Love the idea. Just hoping that it is a product that is reliable regarding connectivity. -- Thanks again for the review.

    Hi, thanks so much for your video. It was super helpful to me in terms of which direction to go with DMX lighting and control. A different option has me all confused and unable to get it started (probably totally my doing though). QUICK QUESTION for you though: do I just need 1 of these PKNIGHT wireless units to control all of my lights? Meaning, can I connect 1 unit to a fixture and then daisy chain the other fixtures through that 1 that is wirelessly connected? Would that still give me control over all fixtures? Thanks in advance for your guidance and help

      Hello! You’re absolutely right - you can send the signal wireless to one fixture and daisy chain the rest of your lights with DMX cable. Thanks for watching!

    Is compatible with Rockville Rockwedges and Best series?

    Do they just work with 5V power supply
    or are there spotlights that have phantom power?
    And if there is, can these be powered that way?
    (Much like when you use phantom power for microphones with the audio mixer)

    Hi , I am confused by the transmtter description ; My understanding is wireless source (laptop ot tablet etc ) to wireless network / router and this device would translate from wireless to 3 or 5 pin DMX plugged into a light fixture . there fore it might be described as a wireless receiver Bill

      @JaredGunstonTV 2 роки тому

      understand your confusion, i think its called a transmitter because its the START of your DMX path as it TRANSMITS into your first unit, but it creates a WIFI network and RECIEVES messages via an APP. :)
