When they incorporate a flux capacitor into the pulse width modulation control, we will be able to get next week's work done today!... Great explanation Neil!
I had a huge eye roll when you started off saying that hydraulic pumps create pressure. I remained attentive throughout, and heard no repeat, so: "Good job." Fascinating stuff. (For those who don't understand my remark: Pumps create flow, while restrictions create the pressure.)
I have a question for you, Neil, that might make a good video also. I went to my local Kubota dealer to pick up some oil for some maintenance on my L4060 and my Z421 mower. I picked up some 10w-40 oil and kept looking for some oil for the tractor but couldn't find it. I was told that everything uses the same oil now. How and when did this happen? I could have sworn that the diesel oil was in orange label bottles and there was a difference. Am I dreaming or did something change?
Messy. You need a CJ-4 oil for your tractor since it has a DPF, normally those oils are not good for gas engines. "Everything uses the same oil" is absolutely wrong.
@@paulholmes672 He's talking about the arborist style helmet. Mainly for the hearing and eye protection. I personally would use one if I was running a stump grinder. While the chips are being thrown to the front that doesn't mean you can't get any thrown back toward you. Also, those things are incredibly loud.
I order from messicks most of the time and items show up within two days as clockwork. Then a new local dealer opened 10 minutes from me…. It’s a large dealer with multiple locations in the north east. I wanted to give them the business… you know, support local, build relationships…. The problem is their ability to get parts timely…. Takes over a week. Back to messick’s!

Would love to rent something like that. Looks like it wouldn’t tear up my yard.
Would you be able to get a squash plate assembly and go through how that exactly translates into faster speed but less power when fully open?
Great idea. I need to find one that's torn open.
Awesome! I have a hard time understanding how more flow?equates to less power
@@evanmason2930 Great idea, I def want to see Neil do that. But in the meantime, fyi, Ive seen a couple YT vids do that, you might find them.
I’m pretty sure it’s a little early in the growing season for him to find any fresh squash for his plate 😅

Putting green fluid in an orange machine should be considered a criminal action :)

I run 5w40 rotella in my L4060. Granted I only have about 400 hours on mine, but it has worked for me in several diesels.

Great video wished I didn’t feel raped with your shipping costs would order everything from you
We just signed a new contact with Fedex that got us some better rates. You should notice lower shipping costs going forward.
@@MessicksEquipthanks for listening to the customers!
I have ordered dozens of times from the parts department and never noticed abnormally high shipping rates.
