Truthfully one of the best and easiest tutorials I’ve ever seen. I was actually looking for help with the McCalls hobo bag pattern and I just couldn’t get it. So I after I cut out the McCalls pattern and searched I found yours…. I changed up the pattern to make the dart seem like you did. It exactly what I was looking for. They advertised it theirs as “It’s sew simple” but it’s not. Yours is and it’s truthfully so much nicer. Now that I know how to do this I can’t wait to play with the various patterns and fabric types I have. I can’t wait to go through more of your tutorials since I’m only a year into sewing. I know I can learn so much from you. Thank you!!

I’m glad you were able to read that abomination of a message. 😂 I just had to finish that bag though no matter how tired I was. Truthfully even if you sent emails daily I wouldn’t mind because I genuinely mean it when I say I am really appreciate of what I already learned from you and what I will from other videos as essentially a strong beginner. While theirs many others making videos, you have figured out how to do it well. From the videos I watched today and yesterday… I never saw one moment of you being pretentious. You don’t give me pages of sewing hieroglyphics to decipher. You don’t talk just for the sake of talking. I found you to be humble and it’s obvious you truly want to show people how to sew. How to break it down and make it simple enough so anyone can truly believe they can do it. You are fun and upbeat while you do it. All that is a recipe in my book for videos I want to watch and learn from. ❤️❤️

What are the measurements of the pattern? I’m a beginner and I want to make a large bag. I’m not good downloading these patterns but I am going to try lol. Love this bag!
Hi Dolores… when cutting out the interior of the bag, I would lay that fabric on top of batting pin it together and cut out the lining that way. Always keep the batting and lining together when constructing the bag. Since you’ve added some padding, you may have a little more challenging time turning it right side out, but it will work.

Absolutely! I've made several that aren't reversible. And yes, just cut the handles longer.
