Great video, very easy to follow. I'm making several of these for Christmas gifts for teen granddaughters. I sew many gifts as I have 17 grandchildren! Quilts, purses, zippered bags, hot mats, coozies, eyeglass holders, bookmarks and the list goes on. Love, love, love your videos, so helpful!

I would make a triangle corner template from 2 layers of card stock Elmer’s glued together for sturdiness. Then all 4 pointy corners will be boxed the same.

I want to make one now and I had the pattern for the sling bag but I could not remember how to put it all together and I could not find my Pin on Pinterest from a couple years ago. Your video is one of the easiest to follow. Clear concise instructions. The only thing you could have done to make it better would be to provide a downloadable pattern, but even without that it is still easy to follow - well done

great idea to use wrapping paper for the template- something I always have hanging around the house. Saved me from taping up a bunch of printer paper together 😅 How smart!

Gosh, it's been so long since I've sewn with fabric by the yard. I'd say 1 1/2 yards of each to be safe, if using a wide decorator fabric, you wouldn't need as much.💖💖💖

I would find it helpful if you started by saying how much fabric we need to purchase. Yes, I can figure it out, but it would be nice to know that I could make X number of bags from one yard, for instance. Thanks, I'm going to make this, cute bag.
I get it, but I don't buy fabric by the yard. I use clothing and other upcycled materials to make my bags. I typically make the pattern to fit whatever item I have found to make my creation.😊💕💕
