Hello, I was one of the designers of this show. Thanks for the great comments. We had a total of 13 club built shells in this show the rest are commercial wizard shells. The 8” multi break with bottom shot shell was by Mark Merten seen at the end of the 70’s show opener. The 10” shell after welcome to my house was built by Ron Jansen and the 12” shell after the finale was also built by Ron Jansen. There were also 10 4” multi color w/ willow built by Mark Merten. Thanks for the awesome video!
Thanks for the extra information! I was just going off what they had announced. Great job to you and the other designers, the builders, and the field crew!! It was an amazing show! My only complaint is I had to cut out Purple Rain due to copywrite stuff and even the google beta remove just the music thing took out ALL the sound and I just couldn't get it isolated on my own to save the firework sounds
Just wanted to offer my praise also. I've been going to PGI shows off and on for 20+ years. My adult daughter was with me this year. The last time she went to a convention, she was 12 and in the JPA. She commented how interesting it was to attend the PGI and see it through "an adult's eyes". After Fridays show, on the way home she offered that after a week of incredible fireworks the WPAG show was her favorite. She even mentioned the purple rain segment specifically. I know you guys really out your hearts into the show and I want you to know it was appreciated.
@@larrydreher I was so bummed out when I had to remove the music from the Purple Rain segment.... I didn't want to cut the whole section out though because it was SO SO SO well done. WPAG really represented the state so incredibly with this show! And they entered some incredible shells into all the competitions too! If I was local I would be joining them in a heartbeat!! What an awesome trip to take with your daughter!!
Welcome to Wisconsin with their very own WPAGI!!! I loved the choice of music from fun to dramatic! Thank you for such a great show! I'm so happy I get to see it on UA-cam whenever I want 😊
They pulled out all the stops for their hometown show!! What an incredibly talented guild!! They used the whole field, had incredible timing, great effects, just it was so impressive! I am glad I get to watch it over and over again myself!!
Just in one day of the real event and the shows I have seen, the handcrafter shells that have gone up have been incredible! The art and passion are still alive!! WPAG killed this show!!! The handmade shells were beautiful, the comet work and use of the field was perfect.. That circle of horsetail mines in the back?!?! The use of angles and all the space they had... They have EARNED the Arts in their guild name!!!!
WPAG Represented their state so well this year!!! This show was amazing!! They had so many builders there in the competitions that did excellent, and they really pulled together with other clubs in the area too!! Hats off to them for the whole week!!
They were AMAZING!!!! And they did just come all the way down! It was an amazing display.... Just incredible! I can't wait to see what the Friday show looks like!!
Nice. I got PGI certified with WPAG. I Would go to more club meet ups but they’re typically a few hours from my house just makes it hard with young kids. Great show!
I get it!! I DON'T have young kids around and I have still only made one of my clubs shoots this year (out of 4 so far). Life gets in the way a lot!! I am jealous though!! You got some REALLY REALLY skilled people in your club!! WPAG members did this INCREDIBLE show, placed in a ton of the competitions and really represented your club well this year!! I hope you do get to hit a couple more events coming up!!
WPAG did such an incredible job on this segment I had to share this even though A) I was so close I had to go super widescreen B) I had to strip out sound due to copyright with one song (Used Googles Beta software to do it and I was hoping it would leave the booms but it didn't in most parts but did in a couple?? IDK?? This is my first PGI but, I WILL be back!! The first public show was incredible, first competition had incredible shells that were breath taking.
WPAG BROUGHT IT to their home state!!!! Just amazing timing, the lines for the comets, the effects!! I just wish I could of left Purple Rain in too *shakes fist at licensing*

This was an amazing show. Brilliant. Was this at North Shore? I know they stopped "Blow up the beach" a few years ago, but if this was the replacement, I sorely missed it.
This was at Pyrotechnics Guild International (PGI) hosted in Oshkosh Wisconsin a couple weeks back... and man WPAG KILLED it!! Next year its going to be in Minnesota and the year after Iowa. This year was my first time going and it was an incredible Pyro vacation!! I can't wait for next year!
That's awesome. Glad you're having a good time. I attended last year's PGI. Did you happen to go to the NFA meeting Monday? I'm anxious to find out about the state of the industry.
I didn't go to the dominator led one this morning... I am going to the pro line one on Thursday...there is so much to do oye! And honestly this morning it was downpouring so I got some r&r at the hotel..it was a busy overwhelming day yesterday lol Was last year your first or?
@@denfireworks No, my son and I went when it was in Mason city a few years ago. My son went to the NFA meeting last year with the head of Dominator where they explained the changes the NFA made to allow previously 1.3 products in as 1.4 or 1.4pro. He said they purposely made the language in it vague to allow better stuff into the country. Was just wondering what may have changed or what they had to say at this years meeting.

Lol, that was a left over cake from the Pyroland show that was right before us that decided to start firing in the middle of our show, even worse it was during the quiet moody part of our show. It’s Pyroland’s 1.4 pro serpent to snowball cake, I believe. THANKS Pyroland 😂
Excellent video Den, looking forward to the rest of the week. Was this an amateur show? It does not look like it with all the single shots and great professional looking effects. Wish I was there but something for me to look forward too in the future.
