To be honest I really don't care because they didn't show this movie on Colorado TV's because of what happened at the High School there was a shooting at a high school the same year I was a freshman in High School in a different town when that happened
The film stared Rob Lowe and they used actual Canadian equipment, including 4 "BC RAIL" MLW M420W's and most of the train action sequences were filmed in British Columbia. It's not a great film, but the train action scenes are worth giving it a watch.
-- Job interviewer: "Welcome Bob, we make trailers. Do you think you have the talent to do such a job?" - "I wish I had the skill, but I've got to be honest... I think I would just give the whole movie away lol" -- "That's what I wanted to hear. Congratulations, u're hired Bob!"
Even though that this great movie is close to 3 hours long, it is still a pretty good one! It's a shame that the atomic bomb that was on the train exploded and the EMP wave from the blast knocked every thing electrical out of order and immobilized every vehicle controlled by a computer chip.
I get this trailer (and this TV miniseries) is made in the 90's but the way it shows, waiting for an actual series at that time would have been redundant as this "trailer" shows exactly what happened.
They barely even mentioned the school bus scene. They showed a picture of it for a quarter of a second and that was it?? That was probably one of the most famous scenes! (Specifically for memes)
The school bus scene? At the beginning right, there’s a few remixes of it, and I believe one of them is on UA-cam. But the school bus scene is still famous outside of memes.
@@FerroequinologistofColorado although that incident occurred in May 2001 (only 2 years after this film was premiered at NBC). but in a way, both films are related (save for an atomic bomb).
It’s Russian, made during the Cold war It’s very cheap and it has an chance to explode or leak and radiating ground and fresh water. Don’t think you should throw the bomb off the side
I'd risk my life to stop the train because the first two options don't look like good options to me. I was 1 year old in 1999 and I didn't hear or see any nuclear bomb go off.
An atomic blast may be able to tear apart a city, but it can never destroy the love that holds a family together.
I love how they just gave away the whole movie
They left out the secret

It does
***** Tell me about it. Electromagnetic Pulse pretty much wipes out anything electronic and things controlled by computer chips are immobilized.
Thanks for the spoiler alert!

This like Unstoppable of the Late Late 1990's.
Pretty much. I think that this movie gave some inspiration for unstoppable, but a lot of the inspiration was from the CSX 8888 “crazy eights” incident
@@FerroequinologistofColorado although that incident occurred in May 2001 (only 2 years after this film was premiered at NBC). but in a way, both films are related (save for an atomic bomb).
According to the trailer of the movie titled Atomic Train, the train will be very scary.

Silly producers, separated air hoses put the train into emergency brake.

One question? Throw the bomb off the side lol
It’s Russian, made during the Cold war
It’s very cheap and it has an chance to explode or leak and radiating ground and fresh water.
Don’t think you should throw the bomb off the side
