Thank you for watching and commenting. As you most likely know there were some differences between W108 cars during their production from 1965 to 1973. The most common are the 6-cylinder engine models called 250 and 280 which denote 2.5-liter and 2.8-liter engines. Amongst them are carbureted and mechanical fuel injected models. The mechanical fuel injected ones are badged as SE. They also came with either 4-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmissions. Then there are the normal wheel-based cars and the long wheel-based cars badged as L. For the European market 3.5-liter, D-Jetronic fuel injected V8 engine and for the US market 4.5-liter D-Jetronic V8 engine cars were produced in normal, and long-wheel based versions. All versions of chassis W108 produced for the US are left-hand drive cars. Therefore, all 4.5-liter W108 cars are left-hand drive. Regarding prices, well it all depends on the factors listed above and most importantly, condition. So here, in the USA, prices range from $1,000 for a good parts car to $50,000 for the best example of a 3.5 or 4.5-liter V8. My advice is to exhaust your search in your home market first.
