I had a comment from @menacegtr that i can't find to reply to directly so going to answer it via this pinned comment ! To add the cool down lap option you need to have Content Manager and Custom Shaders Patch installed first off. Then under SETTINGS select CUSTOM SHADERS PATCH and then find NEW AI BEHAVIOR Then find the AI RACE COOLDOWN LAP option and tick the ACTIVE BOX The next option is to set how fast or slow the AI take the cooldown lap using the THROTTLE LIMIT slider, the default setting of 20% is to slow and i think a value between 40 - 60% is about right. I hope this helps mate and is useful for anyone else looking to add the cooldown lap option to Assetto Corsa.
Thanks for that Jason. for some reason it got deleted and i didn't notice until now. Well done for catching it when you did. That was puzzling me for ages as to why the race finished so abruptly and i must have realised a setting was out. Cheers mate.
@@menacegtr mate glad you found my reply as it was a little unusual ! For some reason the odd comment now and then falls through the cracks and gets lost making it very hard to reply to, thankfully i kept the notification and was able to at least know what you had asked ! I have also setup my AC with this new setting so i wont get booted back to the pits next time i race.
Thanks mate and I am very impressed with my SHH shifter. I have the older Newt version which is still going strong with no issues which for the price I am very pleased about. The H pattern is it’s strongest asset but I believe the newer versions have improved the sequential option by removing the side ways play.
