This a new type of video I am trying, Please tell me in the comments what do you think? Should I make more similar videos when the soundtrack is complete?
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 you went the extra mile, above and beyond by making the music line up to the video perfectly. I must support your patreon or the works as a way of saying I hope this becomes a series here! Stellar work!
SOOooo I've been running a Castlevania themed D&D campaign, lots of classic movie era monsters (Vampires, Werewolves, Frankensteinian monsters, black lagoon fish people, etc etc), and I want you to know I play your music on loop for said sessions. It also helps me brainstorm ideas for what to do in future sessions. So in short, thank you so much for these remastered tracks, they have in my case LITERALLY been inspiring 8D
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 Odd question, have you thought about any of the game boy castlevania songs? "Battle of the Holy" from "Castlevania : The Adventure" would be a good one! And no one has done an actual orchestra remaster, just rock remixes and such for the most part.
Everything about this soundtrack feels right! Instruments perfectly fit the atmosphere of the game, especially the boss music. I even want to stand up shout BRAVO!👏👏👏
I will probably re upload an updated version of it with better boss fight scenes, the holy water abuse is kinda lame for a video like this, even if the main focus is the music )
Ahahah, this is true, Holy Water was just too much, the challenge was to keep it and not get a dagger or an axe by mistake just before fighting a boss:) You're right about Rygar, that would be very cool:)
Now this was a big surprise. You've re-orchestrated the CV1 track's & compiled them into one big orchestral OST, That is paying true homage to CastleVania. This is in celebration of CastleVania's 35th anniversary. And to celebrate CastleVania's 35 year anniversary, Please do these 3 other complete CastleVania Orchestral Tribute OST's: CastleVania II: Simon's Quest - An Orchestral Tribute CastleVania III: Dracula's Curse - An Orchestral Tribute Super CastleVania IV - An Orchestral Tribute
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 Agreed. CastleVania IV is one heck one a soundtrack, 35 track's to be exact, But we all think you'll be able to accomplish that challenge when it's done plus it'll be worth the wait. Since you've done such an outstanding CV1 Orchestral Tribute OST. If you have time, Please do consider orchestrating "Demon Castle Dracula" from Super CastleVania IV, Such a short & simple track nonetheless. Looking forward to the complete CastleVania II & CastleVania III orchestral tribute OST's very soon.
Thanks a lot! As someone mentioned , the gameplay on boss scenes could have been more fun to watch, the holy water abuse was a bit lazy on my part. I may reupload it with better boss action. But anyway, the main focus is the music:)
Awesome! Will your takes on "Castle Entry", "Boss Defeat", "Black Night" and "Dracula Defeat" be uploaded to Patreon, and will the 3 jingles recreated be all in 1 upload?
I will fore sure, I just need to finish the complete soundtracks and get permissions from some other youtube channels to use their video footage, because I will not be able to record all the game playthrough all by myself:)
I often offer my tracks to people who create remakes, but I rarely get any response. I think you tube is too busy now, if you are not VERY VERY good, you're often invisible
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 I mean, I had plans around late 2020 - late 2021 to make a couple of fanfilms based on CV1 And MM1, and as honestly as possible, if I completed even a single scene, chances are the only music I'd be using is yours due to how accurate it is, along with how hard it is to find other orchestrations that are of such high quality.

You could name NPCs after famous actors from that movie era to spice up the setting.

@@RikiRaccoon I never heard the gameboy soundtracks for castlevania games, I'll have a listen, I'm sure there are some gems in there.
All the songs rolled into one, I like that. Especially when the remixes are so good

Heart of Fire is breathtaking. Shivers all over my body.
Man, that holy water is OP, lol. This was excellent. Would love to see a version of Rygar like this! Nice work.

Thril and excitement of the game captured by this version.
Dude, this is so fucking badass. Wouldn't mind hearing other games with badass soundtracks. Megaman, undertale, zelda, etc
Thanks! Indeed a lot of other games will get this treatment:)
