Fun fact, there are a few Pokemon fan games that has experimented with typless Pokemon on a specific terrain (called Glitch Field) (these fangames are Pokemon Reborn, Rejuvenation and Desolation). This terrain would make any pokemon typeless if it holded an item called a Synthetic Seed. I used it on my Shedninja (with the ability Wonder Guard) to cheat my way through a gym leader battle XD
It would be cool to have a Pokémon with average stats and an ability like (when the Pokémon enters the field, it loses all its types but gains a +1 in Defense/Sp. Defense) or something similar. An ability like this seems to be most logical approach to Typeless Pokémon in the main series.
If you have plop Wonder Guard onto a typeless Pokémon(usually comes from the result of a move that removes a type like Burn Up)they would be indestructible.
Poison, Burn, weather, confusion all still deal damage to them. Roar, Whirlwind switches them. It's not as great as you think. You can already do this in doubles by sending Shedinja with mimic, and a pokemon with entrainment. Having the mon use entrainment, shedinja using mimic to learn entrainment, sending out arcanine and having shedinja use entrainment on arcanine. Arcanine uses burn up and done. You have typeless wonder guard.
I really think the new 19th tera type will be defensively typeless (but also give stab on everything). So we might just be about to see a typeless meta
I knew how to become typeless, and I knew about eggs and curse being typeless, but it's the first time I'm hearing that Future Sight used to be typelss. That's fascinating, does that mean a hypothetical typeless Pokémon could have received STAB from that move?

I’m genuinely interested to see what would happen if one was to use Reflect Type on a type less Pokémon. Since it copies the opponent’s typing, I’m intrigued to see if the user would copy the original type (such as Fire from Arcanine) or if it would become typeless completely.
A typeless variant of normalize could make for a viable offensive mon, if it could still be paired with attacks like freeze dry to simulate super effectiveness
I had a fakemon idea years ago for a typeless unown evolution that the same stat spread, but with a 600 stat total. In appearance it was like the unown soup from pokemon 3: the movie and was not as much an evolution as a reward for catching all the unown. It had a typeless as it's only reliable damage move and metronome
I once made an Immortal Arcanine gimmick team. In addition to Arcanine with Burn Up (as well as Substitute, Rest, and Aerial Ace/Crunch/Fire Spin) there was a Shedinja with Mimic, a Truant Durant with Entrainment, and a Smeargle with Aqua Ring, Ingrain, Pollen Puff... and Transform. The intent was to pair Shedinja and Durant at the start, Durant would Entrain one opponent to have Truant and Shedinja would Mimic it. Durant would then switch out for Arcanine and Shedinja would Entrain Arcanine to have Wonder Guard. Shedinja would then switch out for Smeargle as Arcanine uses Burn Up. Smeargle could then set up Aqua Ring/Ingrain, as the now typeless Arcainine attacked with Aerial Ace. Smeargle would then Transform into the Arcanine copying it's Wonder Guard ability and it's typelessness (as well as having Aqua Ring and Ingrain set up for itself while holding a Big Root). Basically, these two comprised the ultimate stall team. Only a handful of Pokemon would have the abilities to bypass the gimmick once set up, and even then the duo's latent bulk coupled with their typeless neutrality allowed them survive while double focusing any potential threats. What's more, Smeargle having Ingrain prevented it from being switched out. The could shrug off passive damage or PP stall anything that they couldn't outdamage (Aerial Ace was for perfect accuracy and higher PP, Fire Spin was for passive damage, Crunch was for accumulating Defense drops to the opponent). The team saw a single (albeit successful) use.

If an actual typeless pokemon wod exist that gets STAB on typeless attacks it would probably give rise to a meta similar to dragon spam in gen 5 where people would just spam strong typeless damage that has no switch-in because of the lack of resistances
Pawmot's double shock actually removes it's original electric typing so even if you're terrastalized, it counts as a pure fighting type that terrastalized into an electric type and your electric STAB is just x1.5 from Tera instead of x2 of original typing+tera stack

A cool idea for a typeless pokemon could be that it can learn any four moves that you have the TM/HM for, and it's ability could be that every turn it becomes weak to a random type, but also deals super effective damage if it uses moves of that type. So for instance, for one turn it could take super effective damage from normal type moves, but also deal super effective damage with Hyper Beam.
There’s a Pokémon Fire Red romhack called Pokémon Clover that has a typleless legendary Pokémon called Adesign, it’s a white box with the text “A design :^)” inside of it & its cry is a person going “a noise”, peak Pokémon design ngl
I just image Type: Null as a typeless pokemon (because of his name). his defensive stats are pretty good too (with eviolite), and he has some stall sets.
I think it would be cool if pokemon like porygon or kecleon were typeless since they have gimmicks built around changing their type. obviously it would make them a lot less usefull since they would pretty quickly gain a tgpe it would be a neat detail
If you think about it, a lot of status moves are really just typeless bc their types dont affect anything since theyre just status moves and dont get changed by typing
The ammount of work that it takes to grant a Burn Up Pokémon the Wonder Guard ability, is wild. Still status, weather and hazards are gona do work, but you will annoy the guy that ended up letting you do it.
honestly a fighting-type removal move called like Last Bout or something could be cute, give it exclusively to fighting types that could pass for being Really Old Dudes
It would be funny to make a new signature move for Shedinja that makes it typeless for a few turns, call it something like Empty Husk, and give it 1 pp max.
0:33 Wait what! You can make the subscribe button glow rainbow colours at a certain timestamp?! That's really cool. By the I mean the uploader seems to be able to say 'at X time, the subscribe button gets highlighted in rainbow colours'
I think rather than creating an entire typeless pokemon, rather there could be a move or item that could completely remove weaknesses at the cost of extra power with stab, and maybe even prevent healing. Creating an extremely bulky stall pokemon that with a bit of effort can be taken out and can’t counteract damage.
The first and only time I saw Burn Up being used was on Pokemon Showdown in the 'Gen 6 Pure Hackmons' category where an Arcanine used it with Wonderguard.
if a typeless Pokemon were to exist, it's prob an egg or an inanimate object but could be sent out in battle, would be funny if it only had one exclusive move named "throw" which is just the trainer actually throwing the "Pokemon"
i was gonna post "my dad is a flutter mane and could beat up your dad" when referring to 4:11 but then i realised that your dad is a typeless pokemon with wonderguard and iron hands' stats so imma tell my dad to not fight your dad
A Paradox "Type: Null" would be not only the coolest Pokemon to have as our first official Typeless mon, but it'd also fit thematically since Type: Null is not only its name, but its initial gimmick is that it doesn't have a distinct typing (I mean, there's no Normal Memory so does that make it Normal by technicality or on purpose?)
I've actually dreamed up a pokemon fan game. Long story short, the box art legendary is typeless, and it's ability turns all pokemon on the field into the ??? Type. Stats wise, I have no clue, but I think it's an interesting gimmick

Should of known that Moxie's built like a small Iron Hands.
Let's go bro . congratulations on 100k before next video
We need a typeless damaging move would be mayhem. I want mayhem.
I think it would be cool if pokemon like porygon or kecleon were typeless since they have gimmicks built around changing their type. obviously it would make them a lot less usefull since they would pretty quickly gain a tgpe it would be a neat detail
I was around when game sharks were used but I had only ever heard of it, you're not alone in the boomer energy
If you think about it, a lot of status moves are really just typeless bc their types dont affect anything since theyre just status moves and dont get changed by typing
Ah, the infamous type "Huhh??🤨"
"Retired" would be a fun Fighting-type move.
The ??? type is one of my favorites
Edit: Porygon is the perfect fit for a ??? type mon, change my mind
Or type-null
The ammount of work that it takes to grant a Burn Up Pokémon the Wonder Guard ability, is wild.
Still status, weather and hazards are gona do work, but you will annoy the guy that ended up letting you do it.
honestly a fighting-type removal move called like Last Bout or something could be cute, give it exclusively to fighting types that could pass for being Really Old Dudes
It would be funny to make a new signature move for Shedinja that makes it typeless for a few turns, call it something like Empty Husk, and give it 1 pp max.
It’s okay I remember GameShark. I remember accidentally corrupting my Pokémon pearl save and having to say a sad goodbye to my very first Pokémon team
0:33 Wait what! You can make the subscribe button glow rainbow colours at a certain timestamp?! That's really cool. By the I mean the uploader seems to be able to say 'at X time, the subscribe button gets highlighted in rainbow colours'
RIP Bird type. Gone and forgotten. You will forever remain on many Gen 1 glitchmons
Ah… era of Typeless, Wonder Guard, Misty Terrain, Safety Goggles Arcanine.
Ah, GameShark... I've corrupted many saves with it
He is slowly but steady taking over wolfey
Technically speaking theres the sound type as well
It's not a type. It's a category like wind or ballistic
Something like a typeless shedinja could be a fun puzzle battle, you could only kill it with status or weather
A typeless tank with a ton of self healing moves would be the face of stalling teams
The first and only time I saw Burn Up being used was on Pokemon Showdown in the 'Gen 6 Pure Hackmons' category where an Arcanine used it with Wonderguard.
There is a cheeky strat I saw on Showdown that is around giving Wonder Guard to Burn Up arcanine
if a typeless Pokemon were to exist, it's prob an egg or an inanimate object but could be sent out in battle, would be funny if it only had one exclusive move named "throw" which is just the trainer actually throwing the "Pokemon"
i was gonna post "my dad is a flutter mane and could beat up your dad" when referring to 4:11 but then i realised that your dad is a typeless pokemon with wonderguard and iron hands' stats so imma tell my dad to not fight your dad
Forget GameShark, have you ever heard of the Game Genie?
A Paradox "Type: Null" would be not only the coolest Pokemon to have as our first official Typeless mon, but it'd also fit thematically since Type: Null is not only its name, but its initial gimmick is that it doesn't have a distinct typing (I mean, there's no Normal Memory so does that make it Normal by technicality or on purpose?)
The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games had typeless attacking moves called Vacuum Cut and Wide Slash.
I've actually dreamed up a pokemon fan game. Long story short, the box art legendary is typeless, and it's ability turns all pokemon on the field into the ??? Type. Stats wise, I have no clue, but I think it's an interesting gimmick
What about typless shedinja? Broken yes funny yes
typeless pokemon idea: unknown, a pokemon where nothing is known about them- wait...
I hate when UA-camrs try to manipulate me by telling me how many likes “we’re” shooting for haha… first video I found and I’m sticking with Jimothy and the nail polish dude
Psywave was also typeless, i dont know about magnitude, never used that move since like gen 7
I appreciate your content, team building insights, and dedication to your gaming passion. Congratulations on 100k subs! I wish you peace and prosperity. Stay safe and humble.
A typeless pokemon with wonder guard is such a meme to end on
Get this massive broham 100k cmon yall!
