Now that's a first for me. I have never seen a dual axle tear drop trailer before. Makes total sense for guys who want to bring a dirt bike. Love it. I'd need one a little lifted with off road wheels and tires just for a bit more clearance (and looks).
The ISO is definitely an interesting concept. Not sure what size tires are recommended for a tandem, but you certainly could ask. In our case we have 35 inch tires on our single axle ORE which is about 18 inches of clearance to the axle.
I met him, them and toured their place about ten years ago, didn’t end up ordering one, but now I’m considering again. Nice folks, and quality products.
That's awesome. They are in a new shop now which has given them a lot more space. They are awesome people and could not agree with you more on quality product. Their customer service, in my opinion, is what makes them best in class.

I grew up in a Bego Indian all over the West during summers towing a Cabin Cruiser when I was a kid. Fantastic going doing the Colombia through the locks, dropping in Anacortes heading to Victoria, and Lake Powell. Zion and Bryce. Gorgeous country. My grandparents love being on the water. They turner my brother and I into National Park nerds. Love this build. Makes me want to get back on the road. So great.
That sounds like an amazing experience. We have gone a a few family adventures out west. Theodore, Yellowstone, Glacier and this past year we went to Colorado. Defiantly check out some our latest adventure to Colorado. You may enjoy.

Right! Some really cool features, like cutting board tables, a place for your motorcycle, and awesome battery operated fans. It’s fun going to these events to see new and creative solutions to get us outdoors.

Pretty awesome indeed. It’s a type of trailer that fits a growing niche in the small camper world. Who doesn’t want to bring there favorite two wheel toy on their next camping adventure.
I'd like to add some of those vent fans, even though I have the dual door fans. I have no problem with condensation in mine down to the high teens with just the side windows open 2 inches each. I would love the ability to bring a light enduro type dirt bike with me, but I think my wife would kill me if I buy any more toys. Todd has really thought outside the box on his tandem builds. I thought the last one was cool. This one blows it away!
TC definitely keeps you on your toes. The fans would be a nice addition, but like you, we have had little need for them. We have small battery operated fans if needed and gives us some flexibility on how we use them.

wish they sold some of their products as aftermarket accessories (window fan, vent fan, etc) would be super nice to add to an existing trailer like my own
Do you have a TC? If so, they will definitely work with you on whatever parts and pieces you are after (depending on availability). Contact the shop direct and tell them you saw the product on Frey’s On The Side.

Love the dual bike setup on the tongue. Anyway I could fit a Vespa with my dirtbike? Fill like it might be a little wide.

Great video and trailer but it left me with some questions. What are the dimensions, weight (unladen, laden) and tongue weight of the ISO? Don’t think I have a problem towing with my Land Cruiser 200 with its 8400 lbs tow capacity, but I think a lot of people would like to know. Thanks again for the informative video.

Reached out to them using their website but they haven’t got back to me. Can’t wait to hear from them because both my wife and I ride motorcycles and we have been looking for a trailer for them.
How much do they cost? I like the double axle . You could also add a roof top tent.

What is the tongue weight without the bike and motobike? Is there a fridge box option for a cfx3 45 dometic which is taller and with a long door. A fridge box with the slider is the best for that fridge. It does not fit in the back of most tear drop and normal trailer as well. This trailer fits a motorbike so no issue with a fridge box.
My bronco Sport Badlands is a small suv offroad with limited 220lbs tongue weight and 2200lbs. The tongue weight is most of the time an issue to find a compatible trailer. I ended up with a closed cargo trailer which fits my large tent and all the camping stuff. It is perfect. But interested to know what a dual axle would help on the tongue weight.
The trailer weighs in a little over 1800 lbs and I believe 200 lbs of tongue weight. I am not 100% sure your fridge dimensions, but there is a health space back there and would assume it would be okay, although I think the fridges that open the short way are how its designed. If you are strongly interested, I would recommend you reach out to TC and ask to make sure.
The ISO is their largest trailer, they do make smaller, lighter trailers, but not with the motorcycle platform.

Good question! In speaking with TC at the show, they were in the process of updating their website with all the specs. I (Matt) would recommend you keep checking back on the TC website for accurate information. That said, I have a 5x10 (Single axle) ORE fully loaded (water, food, all our gear) and it weights about 2200 lbs, with about 200 lbs of tongue weight. I would suspect the ISO would weight around 2000lbs empty. And depending on what you load on the front could vary, but I would imagine it would still be under 3000lbs. They have similar single axle trailers that have a platform upfront to haul one motorcycle or a couple bikes, so if you are considering buying a trailer, they could definitely find one that would work with your two door Jeep. Hope all that made sense, and if not feel free to ask for clarification. Happy adventures.

The weight for the ISO is not currently listed on TC's website. I would recommend you contact Todd with TC via phone or email to answer all your questions. Not sure what you mean by off-road frame suspension? All there trailers are sold with a solid torsion axle rated for different loads, depending on what trailer you purchase. We have the ORE model and the trailer goes where every my wrangler goes. (outside of tight switch back or serious rock crawling). Hope that answers your questions. Let me know if you have any others.

Two 3500lb axles? Wouldn't that ride awful off road? There's not nearly enough weight on the trailer.
You bring up a good point. I personally don't have any experience with this trailer off-road. We have a 5x10 ORE TC with one 3500 axle (derated). Our trailer weighs in around 2000 lbs loaded and handles well on many of the "off-road" trails in Northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula. In discussion with the owners of TC on how the ISO handles "off-road", they stated the results are quite pleasant. Thanks for watching and dropping a comment. Happy adventuring.

About 6’-7” long by 5’ wide.
What’s the price of the ISO setup?
Be sure to keep an eye on TC’s webpage. I know they where working on getting the ISO uploaded as an option. I will also keep an eye on it and look to drop another comment. I believe the base price is 15k and you build it out from there. The TC website has it set up to build it how you wish and see the bottom dollar.

No sink ? Toilet ?
Life in the teardrop. We have a collapsible sink and portable toilet. Personally we do not enjoy dealing with grey and black water tanks.
I find double axle easier to back up.
Makes a lot of sense, typically the trailers tent to react a bit slower to the tow vehicle making tiles mistakes and less over correcting.
@@FreysOnTheSide I see a huge difference when backing up a double axle 17 foot trailer as opposed to a single axle. Even with utility trailers it's a lot easier.
🤔 2x3500lb axles? What's the GVWR? With the motorcycle rack so far forward, what's the hitch weight? The weak link in the towing setup may be the tow vehicle hitch weight capacity. Can a Jeep or small SUV still tow this trailer within MFG specs? 10-15% x 7000 GVWR = 700-1050 hitch weight. Or is this trailer de-rated? Does the towing setup require a weight distribution hitch? 🧐🤔.
The axles are de rated.
