When I built my current system (Ryzen 5600 w/ RX6600).. I chose to stick with AMD for the GPU for mainly weak 'philosophical' reasons, rather than it being the best performance. I have been burned by NVIDIA in the past and felt it was time to get burned by AMD.
You'll be walking like John Wayne for the next few days 🤣
man tech news this week is slow. i need some juicy news!
The B580 might make AMD and NVIDIA prices go down, so that is a win for every gamer, I'll buy a B580 when it arrives in my country, I would like to support Intel now that I know their products are worth it.
Currently have a b580 on reserve at microcenter till i can go after work for it
Planning on using it in bazzite
I think Intel is releasing this GPUs now on this price point to give a nice discount when the bigger ones come out.
Cheers from Brazil.
Than you said almost the same thing... But I thing this price point will be to the bigger Intel cards.
It's my birthday! Looking to get the b580, coincidence it was launched on my birthday when I'm looking for a GPU.
And he keeps talking about breakfast as I leave at the exact opposite side of the earth!
He totally says Brettfast everyday. Not breakfast.
I'm sorry, WHO believes a 5060 is going to exist? Lol
Normally, I'm the kind of person that believes in more competition equaling better products, however, with the android XR, it really kind of feels like they're just ripping off apples vision pro, and trying to emulate the ecosystem without actually emulating the ecosystem, and the design of it is really too close for my taste. I hope that's just an AI image of it, and that they actually have something cooler than that, because otherwise I could see Apple trying to sue them over.
Oh Reece my boy. Hope the PC surgery goes well, and let us know what it ends up being.
Should I get one to replace my 3060 12gb?
It's like a 4060 but can go to higher resolutions and texture resolutions. Whether that's worth the money is up to you.
@rhoharane how about for work load stuff, photo editing with luminar neo. My 3060 runs at 100% when I do certain processes and it takes a few min to process.
*Going to go flip the snip*
Whut!? 😂
I’d buy the 580 if I could find any available for not 400 😅
Better price for googles vr?
If anyone manages to make a b580 sff like what Gigabyte did for the RTX 4060, it would make this card an incredibly heavy hitter. AMD's most powerful equivalent is the 4 gig rx6400 sff!!!!!
It is nice that Nvidia has most of the PC market share, BUT Nvidia does not care about that. AI is the future of the company.
Wait, have those been Pizzamas shirts you've been wearing the last few days?
Lvidia?
Nvidia will Experience ™ the humbling of 2025
Yup
We can only hope
4:31 lol
AMD and Nvidia is not going to offer anything for $250 that comes with 12gb of ram.
And they won't be as powerful as the b580, or its potential.
The b580 will only continue to gain performance. No doubt.
they will still buy Nvidia no matter what...
@@RedLine0069naaah. Most people will still buy nvidia, but I think Arc market share can only increase from this point, and it will increase significantly
@@RedLine0069 Of course they will, but not as much.
Every b580 sold, is one less terrible 3060 or 4060 sold.
They are already sold out everywhere, that won't change.
It's going to get better. And Intel will continue to increase performance even further with driver updates no doubt.
How do you feel about that? :)
@@DaveTheeMan-wj2nkHonestly. The brand loyalty with nvidia is too strong. People really don't like change, they'll still bring up arguments, about efficiency and their needs and buy nvida, especially about dls
@@superloko9926 Yeah I don't think so. So far the current data says otherwise.
Of course you'll still have those who will buy the dead on arival 8gb cards, but the b580 is sold out everywhere, day 1.
It's that good.
And intel is going to increase its performance with driver updates. Honestly it's quite wild when you think about it.
By the end of a few driver updates over the next few months, the card might even see a 10-20% performance boost. I think games like dying light, and spiderman give a sight at just how powerful it really is when the drivers are really good for that game.
We're talking 7700xt+ performance. Peopoe will still Buy Nvidia of course, but every b580 sold, is one less Nvidia sold.
Careful....Doug DeMuro is gon.a come for you 🤣 Appreciate the analysis of the upcoming market for video cards.
Too many people crying about NVDIA prices on UA-cam… I bet 99% of them will end up buying a NVDIA graphics card anyways. Stop crying and get a job
