Couldn't agree more. As a dominican man I can confirm that it's hard to find a woman that's not really focused on getting money from a man (doesn't matter if you met her last night). There are good women here, but you need to be careful and pay close attention to the detals.

It wasn't money that made me happy, no. He treated me like his queen and loved me I intensely for 38 years until he passed away at age 61 two years ago. What a gorgeous, loving, wonderful man who fulfilled me completely. So much so that I desire no other man and will wait until the resurrection to be wth him again. THAT is what it's all about. Any women, it doesn't have to be one from DR, ask you how much you make or ask you for money then you should move on period don't give her a chance no matter how beautiful she looks. About a month ago I was talking to this female who lives in Santo Domingo, but she is from Nagua. She had a job, which she told me she was planning on leaving because she doesn't make enough. She then told me how she needed to buy her 4 year old son his uniform for school. Then out of nowhere she comes out asking me to lend her the money. I immediately told her NO. I told her I didn't know her and that we are just getting to know each other. If I do meet her when I do got there I would be willing to take her out to eat at a restaurant. I told her that it was her responsibility and the father of her son to make sure their son has was he needs. She then came out saying that any man who wants to be with her has to also take care of her son, I told her, she should have made sure whoever she decided to give a child to was able to take care of their child and not go around giving anyone a child. She then told me that she will pay me back if I do lend her the money. I told her I know she is never going to repay the money because she was leaving her current job without having another job ready. The last advice I gave her was that any man who has their life in order is not going to accept her conditions if when they are getting to know each other, if she immediately is expecting him to take up the responsibility of a dad for a child that is not his. Also, I told her because it will happen in the future especially since she has a son, that one day when her son is around 12 - 17 years old, her bf or husband is going to get into argument with her son because her son refused to obey him. Her son is going to tell him what every step father has heard thousands of times before "You are not my real father". If a woman's ex-husband still stays with her then they are still together. And the fact that this woman's own mother is ok with her daughter's ex-husband staying there tell you that is one crazy family you don't want anything to do with.

Of the 10 to 15 couples I know that are married and have been married for years this hasn't been the case.
