  • Track Day Highlights - Episode 2
Welcome back to another episode of my Track Day Highlights!
In this episode, there are far more interesting events than the last one (hence the video duration).
Dogfights with a bunch of different cars, close calls with other drivers, tons of overtaking action and more!
A few days after beating my personal best, I joined another track day to have a fun weekend with a friend who was experiencing his first time on the track. Needless to say, it was one of my most memorable experience of 2021. Definitely one of the greatest fun I had in a long while as well.
    New Personal Best (2:58.86): • Perodua Myvi G3 1.5 N/...
Event coverage, highlights & interview by WayzerDude: • Sepang Vlog! | Ft. Myv...
I've also added 2 additional cameras to capture more angle for your entertainment. As always, this series was established to share my experience on track especially for those who are unable to join track days. Captions and chapters are merely for entertainment purpose and does not represent the true potential of the cars featured in the video(s) including mine.
Most importantly, stay safe and have fun within your limits - best in a controlled environment.

There are a lot of fun and interesting highlights on this episode but if I had to pick my favorite from this particular session it's at 12:24!

Harap-harap dapat la kita side-by-side atau bumper-to-bumper on track someday. Tak perlu competitive but for fun pun menarik juga hehe.
Thanks for watching Raziq MG3 Hub!

Ahaha there are actually plenty of interesting footages with passengers on-board but I'm contemplating in releasing a compilation of that.

      Hi Amir, menarik soalan tu.
Pernah ada plan nak buat video tentang cara nak join track day but masih planning untuk make sure video tu informative dan lengkap.
Meanwhile, you can contact me on Instagram / Facebook for more information. InsyaAllah I will try my best to guide you from start to finish.
Kebetulan semalam pun baru lepas bring 2 first-timers on track and beri guide di Sepang. Jauh beza timing dia drive solo dengan selepas dapat pointers. ☺️
(Link contact ada di description video, send me a message there I will reply.)

Yoooo I had no idea the Evo went off track right behind us; it literally went REEEEEEEEEEEE at 10:37 XDDD
On a side note, having the rear POV cam really does make the viewing experience more enjoyable. Lowkey reminds me of watching F1 with all the different camera angles. This probably won't be too appealing due to the car having an automatic transmission but maybe a footwell cam would be a nice addition especially if it were to be in sync with the track footage? It certainly would be interesting (and educational for future Myvi track goers XD) to see since braking points are definitely crucial on track. I feel like the limiting factor as of now would be the number of cameras on your car but I do have the camera which I use for my touge runs readily available on short notice :D
Otherwise, while it may not be beneficial for obtaining a better track record, it definitely was entertaining seeing you go bumper to bumper with the other participants that day as if you guys were actually racing one another. I'd say you were crazily close to some cars but on the other hand, that slipstreaming action was pretty dope though! XD

The Evo and the Vios at 13:07 both shared the same fate of going in too fast through a turn 😂
Aside from safety, I genuinely bought a dashcam to capture more angles of my track day runs especially the rear as it's something usually the driver notices (due to the rear view mirror) and I got tired of coming back to pit and telling people something interesting happened but I didn't catch it on camera hahah. Now that you've mentioned it, yea that could be interesting for my future videos and time attack runs as well. Perhaps I can borrow your action camera to shoot my footwork when I try to break my personal best next year? Imagine having 5 cameras for an under 100WHP 4 gears automatic car hahaha overkill but still a good time nevertheless.
I'm not too comfortable to get up close and personal with cars on public roads but on the track I feel pretty confident about it. Have to give a shout out to my background in karting where slipstreaming as well as offensive and defensive lines constantly come into play. Truly brings out the best of me when other drivers play-along and push just as hard as I do on track.

@@MeorHariz That's pretty considerate of you getting more cams for the audience here XD Though to be fair, I myself couldn't see at all what was going on behind us while we were on track since the rear viewing mirrors were angled for you ofc so its nice to see what was going on behind Spirit on track. I don;t mind lending my action cam to record your foot work during track days though I think its best if we test out possible camera setups prior to your next track day so just hmu when you feel like going for a drive hahaha
