i just bought this drone, it will be here in a few hours and i already regret it a bit. the smart features dont work right, the 40 min battery only lasts 30 mins and takes 2 hrs to charge. it appears to be noisy and the app seems to have bugs and crashes, plus top speed it only 30mph
i do appreciate your video and my observations are a based on yours several videos
    EDIT:
just got mine today. i have to return it, i paid about $500 for it, and if i add another $500 to it, i can get one that will do what it says it can do. my issues from just first flight:
1 it would not hold attitude, it was bobbing up and down between 8 feet and 30 feet. i can live with 6 inch variations but the bobbing was rediculous
2 it would not hold its horizontal position, it was fighting me constantly, it was like it must always fly south, i simply wanted to hover in my back yard but it wanted to fly over my roof out of my sight
3 once i flew up to about 200ft, straight above me i started loosing the video feed and it was lagging like crazy when it would work.
3 the zoom on the camera is super slow to zoom in and out.
4 recording a video for some reason would only work for about 3 seconds at a time.
5 flying it for about 10 minutes in my back yard used about 40 to 50% of the battery
6 i know about the "smart" features and how they dont work, the follow me only moves the camera, it doesnt actually fly to follow you
7 top speed is about 30mph, this is too slow imo, should be 40mph imo
two weeks ago got a dji mini 4k for less than half of what i paid for this bigger drone and it blows this holly stone out of the water.
the dji has been able to be flown from inside my house about 2 miles away and back and have perfect video most of the time there are a few spots where the video signal drops a little , but picks up later, the holy stone cant handle getting out of my yard without video issues.
i need to know if i fly a drone and point the camera at something that i can focus my attention anywhere and turn back to the drone and know its exactly where i left it, with this holystone it appears that anything can happen, plus the video stream sucks bad.
also, the holt stone will not fly above 398ft, the dji mini 4k can and if you fly where its hilly this limitation will shaft you
i was very optimistic that this drone might be one of those examples that you can get a medium sized drone for a great price and it would have dji like features, but it cant handle basic flight and video so it has to be sent back for a refund

Would you pick this over the Fimi mini 3? They are similarly priced.

Why the follow-me worked on the F11, but sucks on the F22 I don't know. And the app still doesn't have an update-homepoint option so that makes it kinda useless anyway.
I still have to make a tutorial video for you drone reviewers so you know how it can and should work. Because a drone like this could be an alternative for a DJI if the follow-me worked correctly.
And no visual tracking is not a better follow-me. It works totally different. A high end drone should have both. But you can't have decent visual tracking on a cheap drone. You need good cameras and sensors for that. Well unless it is following form very close and has prop guards like the Neo.
With GPS follow-me, if it is compass type, you can position the drone in view and away from any hazards. A $50 drone could do the job perfectly if the video quality was any good.
But as long drone reviewers don't understand the feature, those Chinese programmers won't get it right either. Which means the only drones that can track you are DJI with active-track, or a DJI that works with Litchi, Maven or Dronelink. All the other drones you can forget about. Fimi, Potensic Atom, all the rest will not work in real life. Trust me, I've seen them all. If there was one I would know.
The visual track on the SJRC drones is not active-track. It's tripod mode. Very useful (and safe) feature actually.

Yes, please make a video on how you want follow me to work. I’m sure the drone community will thank you.

@@HalfChrome Unfortunately I do not own a DJI or other drone with visual tracking. So I can show GPS follow-me only. But I will mention DJI's active-track as that is what most people know. Maybe I buy a DJI Neo Fly more Combo? I really need the controller. But I do wish they had a nice small pocket controller for super fast to launch optical flow mode instead the virtual sticks on the phone. Also I hope there will be Maven or Litchi for the Neo soon. Then you will have GPS follow-me on top of the Neo tracking and DJI's Active-track. Problem with visual is that the drone can't see me when I am on my trike with solar roof. Nobody has tried yet if it will follow a picture instead of a real human.

@@HalfChrome Another experiment I want to try out is using the phone as my left stick on the handlebar and the controller as my right stick. Most budget drones have an app with virtual sticks. I wouldn't need any active-track or follow-me when there was a drone with split controller.

@driewiel why would anyone want to follow a picture?
