I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

13:00- 14:52 You’ve fully captured what needs to be said about XG. They have a dancers true presence. They can can do the incredibly difficult choreography. But when they make the choreography “simple” the thing that sets them apart is their ability to execute flawlessly to the T. Such cleanliness, expression, and execution is beyond me. This piece is just as complex as GRL GVNG in it’s own way. Our Extraordinary Girls leave it out on the floor every time never disappointing. I to am scared for what they have in store because for these two songs not to be a title track is insane!

Dear Jeff, yes they did the runway with a little bit different details when on Head In The Cloud. They were crazy, both their performance of Grl GVNG and TGIF. You should watch it too
I love their choreographies! It is always so visually interesting and they just have that swag
13:00 Hard agree here! For me I noticed this trend with the song style/album concept of a group in general. The other groups I like to listen to have their 'style' perfected which is fine because that's what got me into them, and I am guaranteed to enjoy every new comeback. But every time one of those groups make a comeback with a complete new concept I am underwhelmed because it doesn't feel like them. I do want them to explore out side of their normal style but often it doesn't work so well. XG have their 'voice' but they still leave lots of room for experimentation and new ideas, so they manage to surprise me pleasantly every single time. I really enjoyed this analysis looking into details of the choreo I wouldn't have noticed otherwise!

Hi, The "beep" story was very interesting. They said on Japanese TV that they are practicing special (metronome only etc) to improve the synchronicity of team dances.🔥

They performed this for the first time at Head in the Clouds with a crew of dancers, who replaced the girls dancing backup in some moments, and they runwayed down the walkway to the center platform instead of in the X, which was so cool.
yes, they really are versatile. I swear they never dissapoints and they top themeselves every single time.

Jeff you may want to consider reacting to the XG Move #2 series! Each member does a dance that suits their own personal dance style. I believe Hinata does whacking for hers.

This is more like a late 90’s early 2000’s sound, which makes sense since they do draw inspiration from that era of hip-hop, r&b, pop, and electronica. But give it a fresh modern take.

At first glance, I thought Yunho from DBSK/TVXQ was breaking down choreography. All kidding aside, it’s nice to see how other performers break down this choreography which is simply amazing.

yes yesofc u dont needa move the cam switch the sides and so on , but you gotta take their members count into consideration as well as their target audience , global status and the way they do their own stuff in general. not everyone is a hardcore dance dissectors/performers😉
