Haha it just hit me that even if things are “cheaper” on Thrive you’re still paying the same amount you would in store or delivered like Instacart bc those don’t require to pay for a membership. So it’s like that technically goes to the extra amount that is “more expensive” elsewhere. Well played Thrive, well played.
Haha ya you’re not wrong. Similar to Costco or Amazon, the more you use it, the more value you get from it! They also do have sales often which is nice too.
Not worth it!!! It’s hard to cancel, since there’s no option to NOT auto renew. They don’t give any warning before renewing, for me that shows bad ethics. If you have Costco, you can find better deals. Also, not everything is healthy there, so you have to keep reading labels.
I had a horrible experience with thrive market all I did was order some nuts from them and then next thing you know I have a $60 charge from them on my credit card so I went into their website under my orders which now I had a new one and it said that I ordered 1 item under my orders as if I ordered something and I didn't order any items on that date so I contacted the company and they told me that I renewed my membership and I never even had a membership with them I only ordered nuts from them once last month. I canceled everything with them I will never do business with them again it is not worth it to pay $60 a year when we can barely afford to put food on the table just so that I can have the privilege to order their products, that's stupid. I don't know how they stay in business when I can get those products elsewhere without having to pay additional money to save a mere pittance. No thank you thrive take your business and your food and put them where the sun don't shine and I'll be taking my business and money elsewhere.
Thanks for the video, I'm so tempted to try Thrive, but I have access to healthy food near my home. Oof, I do not like Catalina Crunch stuff. Tastes like cardboard and I don't typically mind healthy food.
I mean their food items have discounted prices and affordable. It’s only $12 a month or $60 a year for their subscription. Something Factor, Blue Apron, & Hello Fresh should do instead of charging weekly. Plus 10 boxes from either of those healthy food subscriptions costs you like $200 what theee. So in my opinion, Thrive Market is way better.
You cannot look at the site or any of the products without paying the fee . so its like you are paying just to look. Not very business like.
I didn’t know this! I think I just subscribed based on others reviews. Definitely interesting that you can’t see what’s available before signing up…
Yes, that's why I've never signed on with them - seemed like they don't want you to know prices before signing up. I don't like that.
@@TheJanet4321same! I even emailed them about that and they were like 🤷🏻♀️ subscribe to it!
@@TheJanet4321absolutely agree. I’ve been debating on pulling the trigger on a membership all week but I can’t get over how deceptive that is
You can see the price now without account.

@@rachel.schmidt yeah that’s right!! Thrive is just like those 2. It’s just odd with Costco bc shopping is done in store so why pay for a membership?
Your comparison of Thrive to WF or Sprouts was very helpful!!
EIGHT DOLL HAIRS for a small BAG of cereal really helped me understand 😅
Thrive is so not worth it! You can’t see the items before you join, then canceling is a hassle. $60 down the drain.
If I specify keto as my diet, will they send me the free gift with keto friendly items?

Lol those jello have carrageenan. She needs to research healthy food .
No where does it say it is a total health food market
Lol btw you should do your own research before spewing you ignorance
Awesome! Thank you for the review! 😊
I’m glad it was helpful! 😊

Go shop at Walmart or price rite 🤣 I think that’s an operator error
Check Cascadian fsrms cinnamon toast. It tasted the exact same!!
I like Cascadian Farms cinnamon crunch is way better than the popular brand. I like that it’s not as sweet.

I wish healthy food wasn’t so expensive.
Agreed!!

It’s expensive now , but it’s worth it in the long run to live longer :)
No Gary?! 😅
