I have only one thing to say, thank you Squid. Because when I started playing Minecraft, this video was the first PVP tutorial I’ve ever watched. And after looking back, I saw that this video helped me a lot and turned me into who I am now. I even still use your Hotbar and keybinds!
Heads up if you are pvping on a server YOU DO NOT NO WHAT YOUR OPPONENT HAS, so if you plan to crit them out but see them scroll over end crystals or respawn anchors scrap that plan, the second the see you consistently jump they are going to hot key to there crystals and obsidian and send you back to the spawn screen( the reason is because the lower half of your hit box is responsible for explosive damage, so when they see you jump and opening up more of your lower hit box they know they can get the easy kill)

Quick tip to overwhelm your enemy: keep moving around them until they can’t attack you then start attacking them then run and throw a poison potion to them then attack the back at all cost then you should be able to overwhelm and beat them quickly
My progression strat for no lifing smps: Day 1: get a couple diamonds, find a village, build an iron farm, find a good base location (within a thousand blocks of a pillager tower) Day 2: build like a simple 2k-5k em per hour raid farm, build a villager trading hall at your base, start getting god diamond armor with raid farm exp Day 3: do nether fortress/potion stuff, finish up god diamond set, get netherite upgrade templates from a bastion, and start getting magma and mine any netherite you find Day 4: finish collecting magma and build a simple gold farm (I recommend watching shulkercraft’s videos, and also build a simple 2-4 piglin bartering farm, use your spare time mining for netherite (I generally recommend getting 7-8 for each member of your team) Now you have full netherite god armor with totems, gaps, potions as well as respawn anchors from the bartering farm (the glow stone is from the raid farm and villagers) you also have unlimited gunpowder from the raid farm. On long term servers, you could build a better raid farm and gold farms such as the ilmango entity cramming one. I hope this would help anyone who reads this, it is completely achievable with 3-7 hours a day of play time and you should be able to easily kill any of your friends or enemies with your respawn anchors and totems.

Heres a decent mention for the utilites- If you have a riptide trident and bucket, there are some situations where they are good. For example, lets say you dont have any totems left and you have used up all xp bottles. Use this as an opportunity to put your bucket or trident in your offhand, and putting the other item in your hotbar. This can be good for fleeing, while also giving a higher chance of escaping death, and instead of taking 2 hotbar slots, it only takes 1.

For any bedrock players (In which there is no attack cooldown), if you know that your opponent doesn’t have xp bottles, nor an extra set of armor, tridents shred armor durability. When your opponent is touching water (or under rain), tridents do extra damage. You can also riptide spam for more damage and armor shredding.

Thank you for the useful tips of PvP
Incredible, the sheer amount of expertise and information.
Actually I'm the best pvp'ier in my smp
I become so good after watching this thank you squid 🙃
If anyone is seeing this, if someone is using a bow, then run left and right to avoid. when they are bow spamming, use your shield at the perfect timing. if they break your sheild,
Focus on dodging them and dream strat them. If that is not possible, crit chain them strategically
Pleasse tell me who is liking
This video helped me so much when I started playing smp kit. I have already watched this video when it came out but just came back to say how much I liked the video and how much it helped me. Thank you so much for this video.
Squid this helped a lot on my school SMP I used to get bullied but after watching this I dominate the SMP now
That’s the most helpful 1.9+ pvp guide I’ve ever seen! I really appreciate this video!

Please, don't remind me about his death.
i almost immediately recognized the ace combat music, very cool video, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Great video, this is the video that inspired me to play NetheritePot, so many tips and strategies that helped me get better a lot quicker than I wouldn’t have watched this vid.
I’m very curious about when and what is gonna be the next upload, we’ve been waiting for HALF a year already, hope it’s gonna be worth it.
In Doly’s duel against you, in the comments he mentioned that you’re working on a huge vid.
Anyway great video, the best PvP guide video you’re gonna find on UA-cam.
Thx!!!!
If your playing a kit like his its considered SMP Pot (At least in the pvp community)not nethpot.
Nethpot is a kit without pearls and health pots.

Keep growing bro
This is helpful, but it's gonna be a little harder for me because I play on phone
Java combat It's different if you playing the bedrock one, You must find bedrock combat battle tips that make you better even playing with phone
Tip : if you use turtle master pot, you can sprint + spam jump to cancel the slowness effect
(you must keep jumping to cancel the slowness effect)
thank you for all of the tips this made me way better thanks so much!
THIS is gonna be SO GOOD
Wow, amazing tutorial
Really great job
A lot, a lot! Of useful informations
Deffinitly worth rewatching
I also would like to hear about crystals pvp and that glowstone-respawn_in_nether thing, forget the name
I find them very annoying and unfair
But also skilled
But still, thanks for that great video
Now I will easly ruin my friendships by killing all of them on a sever =)
which particle setting is better for smps decreased or all?
The best tips and tricks for pvp helped me alot!
This helped me transition from Bedrock pvp to java pvp
I watch your every single videos because I am learning how to pvp and also love how you pvp. But my best ping is 250+ms is it good?
@Mo ?? Ping isn't affected much by computer speed, it's from internet
250ms means it takes 250 milliseconds for your input to get to the server and back which isn't good
This video is amazing! Great job Squid! 🦑
Glad you liked it!!
When the world needed him the most, he returned
"you wont last long"
