What was specifically so "really" good about it? And please, descriptive details..
The great thing about Mad Max movies is they're from different people's pov. So there's really no rhyme or reason to them, plus there were no cameras in that world so who knows what he looked like
I love and appreciate that you and Lance Vlcek have been putting out so much content lately. It's great to see you two in front of the camera. I've been watching every JoBlo channel for years, and while I like everyone who contributes to JoBlo, your voice and Lance's ARE JoBlo ro me. It's rare to see you guys in front of the camera, and just know that you're both appreciated and have been for quite a few years now.
If Furiosa is only half as good as Mad Max: Fury Road, it'll be amazing. I have a feeling it will be. Joker Folie a Deux, as well. Mickey 17 looks destined to be bad. I think Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice will be one of the better nostalgia movies. At least I hope so. Michael Keaton deserves more hits.
Last Mad Max movie apparently didn't write him out of his own series enough. 🙁

I really hope Horizon is good, the trailer was really great and it has a lot of potential. As long as it isn't some sob story about the Native Americans the whole way through like Killers of the Flower Moon

Never saw it. Never will. I don't know why everyone gets excited about spin offs. This goes for what they did to Mad Max as well. Too many nerds grew up and became writers. They're devoid of any new ideas so the make up fantasy about secondary or tertiary characters from better movies.

They will all be heavily relying nostalgic bate and have no doubt they will all suck compared to the originals because each one was trying something new when they were made

so, is Joker 2 a musical or not? seems like it is from all the footage and reporting that are out, but the filmmaker sorta try to sell it as "not really" which to me confirms it even more that it is a musical. the whole "it is/it is not" already diminishes my interest in it.
Maybe there's not enough musical numbers for it to be classified as a musical, but too many for it to be a normal film? Or something like that.

i'm going to stab in the dark and guess what Joker 2 is going to look like. i think the 2nd movie will highlight the extent of Arthur's mental illness. i think Phillips uses the musical numbers as a medium to tell the audience that it's happening in his head.
we know from the first movie that Arthur suffers from hallucination when it was (shockingly) revealed that his relationship with his neighbor, Zazie Beetz's character, was a figment of his imagination, that after a chance encounter in the hallway/elevator he never actually made a move on her. cat's outta the bag and Phillips can't use the same trick twice.
