@@YellowbellyshoeI wonder what evidence you’ve seen or heard that makes you say that?
Is your assertion just a knee jerk defense to someone saying he might be less than perfect?
It is completely reasonable to assume that a presidential candidate would not want his indiscretions to go public -so he’d be willing to buy the story and keep it quiet until after the election. (Especially right after that “gab ‘em by the…” video came out. He was in trouble with that one and couldn’t afford another one)
It’s reasonable to assume he wouldn’t want the bank records to prove he paid directly, so he paid in a roundabout manner, having the national enquirer and his fixer pay.
The really big, dumb mistake was trying to write it off his taxes. If he hadn’t done that, probably nobody would’ve noticed.
Are you saying Trump isn’t capable of making a mistake? Nobody’s perfect. Especially when they’re under that much stress and the stakes are that high.
You can say that you think what he did shouldn’t be a crime, but I don’t see how you can say he didn’t do it.

Jury consultants aren't looking for the perfect juror -- they're helping the lawyers decide which jurors to exclude with their peremptory challenges. And they help the lawyers try to figure out what questions they want the judge to ask. Jury consultants can only work with whatever questions the judge and lawyers ask. Tuerheimer is right on. The idea that jury consultants can read minds is ridiculous. They just help the lawyers do the best job they can do with what they have. But the idea that prosecutors don't need jury consultants is ridiculous. Any lawyer can benefit from someone who is not a lawyer who understands juror behavior.

This isn't about what a president can do on his own, it's about what his Council tells him he can or can't do. So, the question is, what resource is the council using to form their opinion? It's not right that this trial is not being shared publicly. We have to put up with these pundits steering us in the wrong direction. Ugh.
Stop talking about 'trying to convince just one juror.' You know that's not how it works. The jury works together, to share how they viewed the evidence, to ask for clarification, to talk. Their goal is to come together, not to have a hung jury. The influence the jurors have on each other is far greater than the Trump lawyers trying to pinpoint one juror and heavily influence that juror. Not to mention they have no business doing that.

Your legal system based on personal opinions and "precedents", not on actual laws, is beyond ridiculous. America has the highest rate of wrongfully convicted people, as high as all the other countries combined. This kind of legal system cannot be repaired, it needs to be replaced with actual laws and a robust state to protect the rights before protecting liberties. There can't be justice in a Court where there's nothing above the "judge" personal opinion and above the personal opinions of a small mob of 12 "peers". In civilized countries, justice is a right, not a freedom. But you don't know what rights are because you value only liberties, you hold the problem backwards.

We should understand that in this case, Trump is being charged with 34 NY State political interference penalties. That of course means that the jury will be asked to make their decision on all 34 charges. If they agree that Trump is guilty on AT LEAST ONE of the 34 charges, that gives Judge Merchan the duty of coming up with a penalty.
