Remember people losing their minds about the electoral college on Wednesday, November 9th 2016?
Clinton won by 3 million votes in the popular vote but lost in the electorate. It should not be that way now. It worked when we had almost nobody in our population, but now it doesn’t make sense.
I think we learned from the 2020 election how corruptible state's electors can be to disrupt our democratic choice of a POTUS. If Trumps plan worked millions would have lost their voice through vote again.
Thank God we did not seat the Hildabeast as president. BiteMe is the worst president ever, but Hitlery would have been Mussolini 2.0.

Remember it took till 1900 for women to compete in the Olympic games. Then in 1920 they were able to vote. Then their independence was taken away recently when men starting competing with them in sports. Luckily they can still vote. 🤷
And, maybe moving forward, we as a nation, can make some sense again! Get men out of women's sports, get women out of men's sports, reproductive rights restored and permanently ensconced, constitutionally, separate restrooms, etc., resolve issues that are just!

Suffs is what gave us Donald Trump. Remember, it was Joe Biden's turn to run for President after being VP for 8 years. He had earned it. 1) By not voting in November of 2016 cause they were mad he didn't win the 2016 presidential nomination.
2) In 2020, when it was time to nominate the Democratic presidential nomination again, I heard that in several states (where Bernie campaigned) that when it was time vote there was a low voter turnout.
3) I can't forget the Democratic National Convention and the constant booing from the Bernie Sanders supporters in the background. And Oh yeah, when Bernie Sanders pleaded with his supporters to vote for Hillary because of the horrific consequences If Trump won (overturn of Roe vs. Wade, the Muslim Ban, and kids ripped from their parents at the border). The Bernie Sanders supporters booed Bernie himself.

Glad that the cast includes Black women, unfortunately that wasn't the reality back then. Those women didn't include women of color in their quest to gain the right to vote, because they thought their movement would be tanked. Perhaps they were right. Just goes to show how salient racism is in this country. But it's the only way that this play could have had forward movement and relevance, and that is to include who wasn't included before.

For some reason, 14th Amendment, Section 1 also did not give you the right to vote. You are correct that the 19th Amendment did not give you the right to vote as the states were violating Section 1 of the 14th Amendment. We wrote legislation to tell the states to pound sand, and unfortunately, the Supreme Court has told us as citizens that we should pound sand.
