Dear Gustabo-san I am not sure if you can surely use 7x1 wire ropes with our swagers and sleeves. Because we have not tested such wires. For the wire rope 7x7, and other standard ones, when you use ARM Brand swagers and ARM Oval sleeves properly, wire ropes will not be slipped off from the sleeve. Nice demo. I'm doing it with 3/16" cable and having a LOT more trouble than you getting the cable to go into the ferrule.
Can 7x1 wire ropes use an aluminum sleeve/ferrule? or will it slip away under tension? i´ve been having this problem. Thanks!!!

How does swaging hold up under mechanical testing?
