Love squire guitars and bass guitars I play a bronco and a mb4 skull and bones but I still want a p like this nothing sounds quite like one. Didn't know you played bass too awesome!
yeah im a bass player -got more than 10 of them too! - i had a bronco and loved it but sold it as it was too similar to my squier mikey way and fender musicmasters - i did a comparison video of all 3 a couple of months ago you should check out - the bronco fared well
Great Stuff Malko +my information on Lynotts mirror scratch plate is he got the idea from Noddy Holders Hat which was full of Mirrors and was very visual and effective at gigs so he Mirrored his P Bass.+I hope you washed those dishes at your feet .
I've watched many YT vids on this amp. Yours, with your tricked-out Squire and room mic-ed, battery-powered audio tears it. I'm learning fretless bass ukulele to take camping. With the strap, I could join a parade!
Your Joyo sounds much better than mine. Mine vibrates and rattles like heck at a low level. Headphone amp or just loud enough to hear over TV. Should have sent it back, but only cost £35 and, strangely, I like it.
i am looking into getting one of those amps to busk with a singer songwriter. I have the Blackstar but the 3W sound like crap when U push it... Other battery powered bass amps are just too expensive... How do U feel about it after a couple of weeks of having it?
im still liking it - im not sure its really big enough for busking though...im just back from download and it did well playing along with a couple of guitars through mini amps but it was pretty much up full...i was using a steinberger bass which isnt very loud as well though, sorry if thats not much help to you!
sort of... as long as you like clean, i think with a distortion pedal you would be ok - there is a guitar amp version.id try a guitar through it but i gave the amp to my pal whos thinking of learning bass
@@MADMALKO Thanks. I have better guitar practice amps, but just thinking about a little week vacation with a bass, a guitar, and maybe this little amp to work passably for both.
Hi friend, have you already tested the box with pedals and pedal multi effects? I want to buy it to play at home, I just wanted to know if it responds well to effects.
Typically these small amps do NOT handle outside effects wrll at all. This amp is for someone who plays on the go like outside jamming, campfires and busking where packing as light as possible is the name of the game. So effects pedals arent ever really considered. Id recommend paying more for an amp with an 8" or even better, a 10" speaker that is small but not battery powered. Something with a DI out would be great too because you can plug it in direct to a PA later down the road just on the off chance you join a band or do an open mic. You get SO much more value for your money that way, and much better "tone" while also being far more condusive to using effects pedals.
i guess with a splitter cable or a/b pedal, or maybe run a stereo chorus pedal? i think once you get to that price you are in roland cube territory though which i think would be louder than 2 of these
@@stateofblitz i have not no, i do have a line 6 micro which has an "acoustic amp" mode whixh is pretty good for bass.bass is hard on a busking amp as the 2 things you really want for bass are power and a big speaker - both hard to make portable!
The most considerate review of this amp's qualities and tone out here on yt, thanks
thanks man!
I use this sitting in my backyard, conect my phone and headphones, sipping some icetea.
Hoping for a nice summer.
sounds a great plan!
Great video, very helpful information!
Cheers from Texas! 😊
Best review I have seen mate , no nonsense, good job.

@@MADMALKO thanks, it does help!
Which one do u prefer? Fly 3 bass or the joyo ma-10b?
ive only tried the fly bass in the shop and it was surprisingly good - very similar to the joyo but more expensive i think?
I saw a guy who bought a wee stagg bass amp was very good.
Are you J mascis with bass?
Do you think it would make a passable guitar practice amp?

@@MusikPlusMehractually it may sound decent with guitar - it does have a drive channel, wish id tried it now

i did not no, i ended up selling this along with a bronco bass to the singer in my band not long after i got it

Do you think it's possible to connect two of these together for louder busking?
