Thank you for including acrylic yarn in your videos. I've recently started knitting sweaters and most videos I've found only use really expensive yarns. I didn't think knitting sweaters with acrylic was a good option. I'm really enjoying your videos thanks again!
Thank you! And congrats on winning the giveaway prize! I've added quite a few Irene Lin patterns to my favourites, looking forward to knitting more in the future!
My favorite part was when Jenny climbed the ice wall with her knitting needles. Then was confronted with an ice troll! But instead of slaying it, she knitted it a cozy sweater and they had tea together.
I bought the Rota jumper pattern last week but I've managed to hold off casting on so far (only because I'm using the needles I need in another project lol) I made the Hitufude cardigan earlier this year in fingering yarn. It took me a really long time but I wear it probably once a week in the office. i love the gold/yellow you picked for yours!
Exciting! I really enjoyed knitting the Rota Jumper - I'm sure I could have learned to do the 1x1 cable without a cable needle but I found it very meditative! I can't wait to finish my Hitofude, I don't have much yellow/mustard in my wardrobe and I feel like it's such a great fall colour!
OMG, you are crazy with all the cable knits, but i love it so much. I will be so confuse. I just knit one all round cable sweater and it already make me dizzy following where i am after picking it up, and you have a few....hahahha, crazy and amazing at the same time. Really so impressive. I love all your knit, because you are such amazing knitter. How old are you btw? You look so young.
Thank you so much! All of the cables definitely can make me dizzy sometimes haha! I try to always keep track in a notebook of where I've left off in a pattern - and I know now that I should review certain techniques again before I pick up a project to make sure I'm doing it right (like my slip stitch selvage!) Also I'll be turning 35 early next year!
@@HoneybirdStudio oh really? We're not very far off. I'm 37. And haha, reading your comment makes me imagine all the things you need to remember when picking the project up again. It's fun but a nightmare as well. I think you really love challenges. 👏👏👏 One full cable sweater is what I can handle in one time. And I finish the summer Faye Top. Even though I did the size 1, it was so big after blocking. Coz I use coboo yarn which grows alot after blocking.
Yeah it's definitely frustrating to make a mistake on the selvage! I wish there was an easy fix but I couldn't find one for the way I was doing mine, I'm hoping it won't be too noticeable!

I’ve made that selvage mistake before too. It did not make me happy.
