What a wonderful way to spend my Friday morning listening to you and knitting up a swatch 🥰 Your WIP pile is filled with great projects!! Thanks for the video!
Hi I actually found you wile looking at videos of "what is in your notions bags/pouches" and i enjoyed your video and wanted to see a more "normal" podcast of yours and i really enjoyed it i love the projects your working on I immediately subscribed and look forward to following you on more of your knitting journeys. Oh and speaking of cables! I am so close to finishing up the "Marcelina Cabled Scarf" by Rae Blackledge (I started it back in 2019 and ended putting it on extended time out because it was not a pattern i could hold conversations with my family without shushing them or just enjoy a movie with .... i wanted to participate in a make along of old wips or patterns that have been collecting dust the MCAL is called "Dust em off" i think lol? That is why i actually picked it back up actually *embarrassed*) But i am actually excited that i will be able to use it for the fall and winter seasons!
OH MY GOSH YOU’RE LITERALLY THE SWEETEST GAL 🫶🏻🥹 The way I was furiously writing down all the patterns you’re making whilst watching… SHOULD BE AN OLYMPIC SPORT. I’m resisting the urge to immediately cast on the gown cardigan, that fuschia/magenta color is stunning and I cannot wait, literally CANNOT wait to see it done. I love how colorful all of your works in progress are and your streamline tank looks so good on you and I need to cast one on, but you already know I have a bajillion and one WIPs on the needles right now and can’t start anything 🥲 I kind of giggled when you said I’ve knit a lot of garments, that is very true but the way I was immediately humbled when the first project I attempted to cast on was a very cabled sweater. Yes, I was a very uhm… ambitious beginner knitter 🤭 Thank you so much for your kind words, you’re so sweet and your podcasts are always so lovely and inspiring to watch ❤️
Haha! It's so hard to not cast on new projects when you get inspired by seeing others knitting 🤣 After I saw your last episode I was thinking "I'm glad I'm not the only one with a million wips on the needles at the moment" lol! I think it's so awesome how ambitious of a knitter you are! I think it's better to be ambitious and adventurous with knitting - I know my first sock was less than stellar (I knit the toe totally wrong lol!) But I'm glad I got over the fear of trying something that seemed so intimidating! I can't believe I only knit hats and shawls for the first couple of years of knitting 🤣 I could have so many more sweaters by now if I was more ambitious back then haha!
Always lovely to watch your podcasts and always inspiring as well!
