About the NERD 2, I would argue that as a GUE diver you know your NDL and would not need to check your computer so often. But yeah it makes it a bit easier. And as a mCCR diver I would like my PO2 in my face instead of a LED HUD, that could be a backup solution as well. Diving with multiple gasses OC would also not make the NERD 2 less useful since your NERD would be on your longhose and not on your stage hose. Unless you go for the helment solution as a sidemount diver.
I would still consider adding the NERD 2 for my OC dives if I already own it for my CCR dives.

I have had my Teric since last summer. The limited amount of ecperience with it I have to say: I love it! The oled display is great. For me Teric replaced my loyal Suunto D9 as travel/spare computer. Originally driving force for upgrade was the CCR mode which D9 does not have and Buhlmann with GF (D9 used Suunto RGBM). Having Petrel as CCR controller and Perdix as backup Teric was clear choice. It has fulfilled its role well.

Hi there, thank you for the very interesting video. I've two specific questions:
    1. Far-sightedness? As I'm diving side mount and am using the Suunto Eon which can only show one pod at a time, I'm considering moving to the Teric. I understand it has a very good display. I'm >50 years old and have an age related far sightedness. Do you have experiences on the visibility of the Teric - and in extension, of course, the Nerd, when it comes to that? Right now I've little corrective insets in my dive mask, but they're not all that comfortable.
    2. When you speak about twisting your arm around to see the dive computer, why don't you just set the dive computer on the side of your wrist, like turn it 90° towards the inside? I actually always dive like that - it allows me to keep my hands right where I need them, and still have my dive computer in sight. It's a little hack, but I haven't found any reason so far to do otherwise. In a typical relaxed dive, I've my hands together in front of me, and can see my dive computer at all times. It of course doesn't sit "right" as a watch, but on the other hand, it doesn't really move.

Thank you for the brief review…..I could care less about the “ collaboration “ (make that money get that merch) glad to hear some viewpoints I got the Perdix AI was thinking about the Teric for backup. The NERD II is something I want to have when I go to the CCR route

With all these product videos coming out, I am wondering if the GUE youtube channel has become a sponsored thing? It looks like it is becoming commercial quite fast these days.

The video contains paid promotion (which you can see declared in the bottom left corner). Also, it's been three months since our last product video. There will certainly be more as we love to collaborate with our preferred partners. We will of course be bringing you all the regular content and a bunch f new content n the coming weeks/months

    Hi, nice video!
You can also set the Teric to four levels of display brightness. On the other hand, I could not find a depth alert. Also I can not use the timer function underwater. Did you have a prototype software on your Teric?

From my point of view, the Nerd2 is a great tool for CCR diving but not the best option for OC diving.
The price point is very high - I got 2 Perdix for less money (which is the same computer with a different housing).
I'm really interested how to handle an OOG situation (or a gas change) when using the standard OC mount.
Or are you using the (optinal?) helmet mount as used by the cave diver in the Shearwater promo video?

Yeah, the NERD is really for CCR, I don't know what this guy is going on about.

Question about the model types. Can you use the NERD 2 FISCHER as a stand alone - without the cable ?
