Only problem with these videos is you don’t see the build up balls that lead the batsmen to play back and get caught on the crease.
That was the beauty of Warne. A forever thinking bowler. Set them up and knocked them down.

Underrated how much Warnie was always able to adapt & grow as a bowler. The fact that he all but lost his killer flipper after the shoulder surgery he had in 2002 due to dislocating it (After already having it completely reconstructed in 98'). Imagine taking away a batsmans most effective shot? Loses his flipper but still goes on to develop the Slider, which became particularly effective in England (Especially the '05 ashes) and kept adapting his bowling after the finger surgeries & everything else. Super impressive. Was a completely different leg spinner by the end of his career, but was still just as effective, and continued to get some of the best batsmen out well past his prime.
He became a more cunning & wily bowler in the latter years. Didn't get as much savage spin & drift, and didn't have quite the same level of variation, but he was such a thinker. And almost always managed to set traps & out think his opposition. The guy was a genius on the field. And the one thing he never lost, and in fact continued to get better at, was his accuracy. Almost never gave his opposition easy runs with full tosses or half trackers.
Game hasn't been the same since he left, and we still havn't come close to seeing anyone like him.

Warne was most dangerous on BOUNCY wickets - it meant his stock ball was maybe more predictable but his variants (including the flipper) were much harder to anticipate. That's why, uniquely for a spinner, his record was better outside the subcontinent than in it.

Batsmen are so very late bringing the bat down, the ball must really scream through to hit the stumps. What a magician!

Warnie bowled at 78km-83km/hr. The flipper goes through at 88km-95km/hr so it was a faster ball, so it moved quicker and straighter.

I cannot believe he left THIS world. WARNE controlled the ball with his mind even after it left his hand. THE LEGEND AND GOD OF SPIN BOWLING. Wherever he is, whether there is heaven or heaven is just simply an imagination, I hope that he spins that ball and controls the batsmen's minds forever and ever. "Bowling Shane".

The Once in a lifetime Genius.
Spin Bowling became famous because of Shane Warne.

Sorry spin bowling was famous way before Warne, it was made famous by Bedi & later Abdul Qader who resurrected the dying art of leg spin
