Rawlings and some soldier staged an abortive coup on May 19, 1979 and that led to his arrest. It wasn't that Akufo imprisoned him for fear of him. That's just a contribution and clarification of Rawlings' incarceration before the June 4, 1979.

Your history wasn't bad. But something went wrong a long side of your recount. 1. You presented major gen Utukah's picture and gen Acheampong. 2. You also mentioned Afrifa and Ankrah's coup instead of Kotoka. Afrifa was oart of the 1966 coup but the frontages were kotoka and Ankrah. Even Ankrah was retired by Osagefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
