Sounds fantastic! I have a Silverface Bassman that's been converted to an AB165 circuit. I really want to do this mod but wanted to check what volume the amp was on in this video? I'm wondering if it'll do a cleaner tone also at a decent-ish volume?
Volume ~3. Yes it does beautiful cleans too. Just back off the mids (pot is on the backside) and enable the negative feedback loop (the ground switch or pedal). Then there is typical blackface Fender clean. Going back to a 12at7 phase inverter gives you more clean headroom, if needed.
