I was surprised that they still had it as I did not go to the store early. It will be interesting checking out the Noel. I think that I am up to five Sparks albums now.

Found a Who album for 50% off. Buncha CDs for 40% off. Fun time.
I only started going to RSD in the last few years and I'm one that gets there around 11am. after things have cleared out. This year was different as it was still very crowded at that time. There was a Chris Isaak release that I wish I would have picked up. Cheers.

I have heard others talk about how busy their stores were as well. I saw quite a few of the Nancy and Willie albums, so I don't think it will be too hard to find them later. This is my first Mighty Lemon Drops record. I am looking forward to spinning it.
Absolutely brilliant Joe Strummer to go with your Streetcore Randy. I can’t remember have you got Global A Go Go? I think that new Joe is brilliantly remastered, very impressive. I ran out of budget so couldn’t get the Sparks album. Glad you had a great day Randy. Mike

I approve of Joe and Sparks. I haven't heard about the Trash Can Sinatras in years. I think I have heard that Might Lemon Drops record, but I can't recall any tracks. Great pickups, Randy.
The Mighty Lemon Drops have been compared to Echo & The Bunnymen and I was just playing the Trash Can Sinatras debut the other day, so I hope that they were still good on this record. The Joe Stummer was my main goal as I didn't have the album in any form. Take care.

I did a similar thing with the Howlin' Wolf album, leaving it behind. I don't buy a lot of the live albums that seem to populate RSD although the few that I have bought sound fine. You're right, Chris Isaak had the perfect voice for Sun Records. Thanks for watching.
Good you got some of your picks at a reasonable hour Randy. The Sparks looks interesting, I have the reissue from a few years ago of the main album plus a disk of additional tracks/mixes but not familiar with the Noel album. Cheers Dale

I ended up walking out with 5 records and only 2 of them where record store day records haha. Last year I didn’t even go but this year there was 6 or 7 I was interested in. I was sorta interested in the Joe strummer and sparks but the store I went to didn’t even get any
The first store I went to were out of most of what I had an interest in. It is a big store and I would have liked to have more time to look at the used but it was so crowded. The second store was not as crowded but only sells new lps. It's the most crowded that I have seen an RSD. Thanks for watching.
I didn't know there was a Noel album; pretty sure I have a disco 12" by her but credited to Noel & The Red Wedge as I recall. Wonder why the Joe Strummer LP is on George Harrison's Dark Horse label. I was thinking about going down to the nearest store to me, there are a couple of RSD releases I am sort of interested in - but not really essential ones and I feel like I'd end up caving to temptation and buying something I don't really need. Which I am trying to do less of these days. Cheers!
Noel was a new artist to me but it came with the Sparks album. I know the Strummer album was on a different label when it was first released but I guess Dark Horse is reissuing it. I did see Prince Buster, Prince Far I and Lee Perry releases but decided to hold back.

Nice group of records Randy. It's crazy how quickly these stores go out of stock these days.
I don't go early which is part of it but it did seem a lot more crowded than last year. I was happy with my pickups.
